i literally could not care less about the money, i just want to see this guy taken care of so that he can't do it to other people.
i will donate $$$$ to a private investigator/lawyer fund if anybody is interested in starting one? again, i don't care about the money i lost- if this guy wants to work out a payment plan and make everything OK, i'll put my name at the bottom of the list - if he doesn't, then i'll shovel money into bringing him to justice.
if he doesn't want to work this out, and instead he wants to try to outsmart us/continue his scam, than you can guarantee that i will find this guy, i will find everyone he's ever been in contact with, and i will talk to them directly about what happened.
and then i'll do it again the following year.
and then i'll do it again the following year.

if anybody was scammed by this guy, and is considering letting it go because it's just too much effort - DON'T. i will happily pay any legal fees you incur as well as replace any money you lost in the process - IF we bring this guy to justice.

The guy came in and said he's been peppered for the last 4 months and you chuck threats at him you could at least give him time to post again or wait till you confirm he's a scammer

First, please keep this thread civil. I have an outstanding debt obligation from SCOOP 2010, that is not in dispute. I am going to pay it in full, not because of anything in this thread, but because it is my debt. I will pay it.
A couple of points. There is no fraud involved. I used the staking money exactly as a said I would and was very professional the entire time of SCOOP. I owe reimbursements. They are delinquent. For that, I am sorry. I want this resolved as much as you all do.
As far as posting shortly after Black Friday, I have money on many poker sites just like almost all US poker players do. Why wouldn't I be concerned? I understand this affected many of you as well.

After a long deliberation with my fiancee (still not married obviously), we are going to start some payments this Friday. As it's coming from her paychecks only, we are talking about $300 to $500 per two weeks. It isn't a lot, but we figure we might as well pay something while waiting for larger amounts to pay in full.
Please PM me with your information to be paid. She has a PayPal account. If anyone has any other suggestions for payment methods, feel free to post them. So currently, can send a check or PayPal.

Like i said before i think you will pay everyone back in full even if you send a ss to lego just to show that funds are there and he can confirm in here
Just got some info via email that made me think maybe Karl is not actually a scammer, and maybe he really did have a run of bad luck IRL that led to his extended absence from the forums. I'm still skeptical, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Karl, I hope you keep your word and come through with payment.

I can not edit posts in this forum (except for my own posts within 30 minutes) and therefore I can not edit posts in this thread. I have PM'd to cld343 the users who can edit these posts and I imagine he'll contact them and ask for some things to be edited out. I have no problem with those users editing this thread to the extent that they think they should.
As far as payments starting now ... perhaps there should be some sort of structure for how they're made. Perhaps could come up with an order based on some sort of criteria.
Or what could be done is that on each payment each individual could be paid some of that payment's amount in proportion to the percentage of the outstanding debt owed to the individual. To me this seems to be the fairest way to do this ... though I don't know if there are practical concerns that would make it difficult.
Though I'm sure everyone can do the math and sees that at $300 to $500 every 2 weeks it would take quite a long time to pay off the balance. However, I am hoping that this will now just be resolved easily and as quickly as possible and everybody involved will be able to put it behind them.
I forgot to mention the order of payments. I'm taking everyone's name that I have payment data for and randomly drawing names. This means those with the biggest stake may still get partial payments early, but will likely be paid in full last. The fairest way is to proportionally pay everyone, but that is not practical.
As far as length of time to complete reimbursements, I'm uncertain as of right now. However, I won't drag this out. My fiancee and I have a lot of options. I don't want to get into details. Things like cashing out her retirement savings are a last resort. I will do everything to complete this in a reasonable time frame without affecting my family long term. These payments are just temporary. I may be able to pay in full at any time. I just don't know when. We're talking weeks or months, not years.
I'm paying out the full amount invested, so what you've already received from my cashes is interest. Also, PayPal is charging me 2%. I feel that's fair for me to cover those fees as well.
Feel free to PM me any questions you need answered. I'll answer anything. I'm a computer programmer and seeking employment after a very long time off. This won't impact reimbursements.
Lastly, I will check this thread at least once every two weeks, but not daily.
I'll try, but once per two weeks at a minimum. A few payments going out on Friday. No changes on final reimbursement time frame. I'll be going to Arizona and California for a couple of weeks. We have several other options that will be clearer in a few weeks. I'm doing my best to resolve this as soon as possible.
