Ok, I know it has been a while. Between law school, bar applications, the tax clinic I work at, my part time job at a law firm, cover letters and resumes, poker, and general life including my wife I have been kinda busy and will be for a few more months.

However, I am going to get to sending this e-mail and we can all see what we can and want to do. Right now there's 10 other investors who haven't contacted me yet. I'm going to send them all a PM and give them a little more time to respond.

Off-topic, but jesus christ, much respect. A wife, studying, 2 jobs, poker and applying for even more (or other) jobs.

Definitely happily donating a part of the sum to Lego for this. The percentage would however depend on how large a percentage of the sum is going to be spent on actually retrieving the money.

meh things got even tougher now for this probablly.

First off, my deepest apologies that you have been in the dark about my situation. My fiance registered and posted, though I see no record of it. She says she used random letters to register and didn't write the log in information down. Maybe a mod can find out what forum and thread it went into.

Late last year, I was in an accident. I was seriously injured, including a fractured skull. I was in the hospital for a long time. I'd like to leave it at that for now, as litigation is involved. Late last night was the first time I have looked at ********* in about 4 months. I also haven't played any poker. The money in my five accounts hasn't moved. That's different sites in case you get the wrong idea.

Everyone will be paid in full. I thank you for staking me and I sincerely appreciate it. I was in the process of completing payouts when my life took a bad turn. I feel normal now, though my fiance says I have a long way to go. Please understand that my life is very hectic right now. With litigation, insurance, rehabilitation, etc...this thread can't be top priority for me. So I ask for a little bit of time and understanding. I will include interest in paying off these debt obligations. I don't have time to respond to PMs today.

I have zero issue with investors having my full contact info, even phone number if you want to speak with me. My main concern is posting information against advice of legal counsel related to my accident. I don't want to jeopardize anything. The money involved is significantly larger than what we're dealing with here. Email may be a better way to handle things than this thread, I don't know.

Lastly, I don't know what the implications of site shutdowns to US players are. We can work around that.

We also can attempt to gather more information in the future. There are people we could talk to who are very good at gathering information. If legal action becomes necessary that is an option that we can explore if we desire to (or if any one of us desires to really. I believe it is likely that a class action filing would make the most sense.)

We should check the statutes in Kansas and Missouri to see how long we have to file just in case so as to ensure we don't miss a deadline. A quick look (that I think is correct but like I said it was a quick look through) shows that actions brought on a contract (written or oral) are either 5 or 10 years, fraud is 10 years. MO criminal statute of limitations are 1 year for misdemeanors and 3 years for felonies. I believe the amount in this case would make it a Class C felony.

I'm not going to look up Kansas statute of limitations right now. They are likely very similar.



Anything else (particularly anything more detailed) regarding personal information or regarding any lawsuit someone may or may not file SHOULD PROBABLY NOT BE POSTED OR DISCUSSED HERE.


My last law school final is in a couple weeks. If I don't send out an e-mail to link everybody together before that time (which I very well may do), then I will certainly do so very soon after.




Hopefully, cld343, will simply make this right on his own. A payment plan could also be an option if it is something that an agreement could be reached on by all involved. Also, if agreement can be reached then perhaps some other arrangement could be made. This is of course up to all involved.



I hope everybody is well (including cld343) and will continue to do well in the future. I have been in a fairly rotten mood for large portions of the past several days due to the recent news that I am sure everybody is aware of.

i literally could not care less about the money, i just want to see this guy taken care of so that he can't do it to other people.


i will donate $$$$ to a private investigator/lawyer fund if anybody is interested in starting one? again, i don't care about the money i lost- if this guy wants to work out a payment plan and make everything OK, i'll put my name at the bottom of the list - if he doesn't, then i'll shovel money into bringing him to justice.


if he doesn't want to work this out, and instead he wants to try to outsmart us/continue his scam, than you can guarantee that i will find this guy, i will find everyone he's ever been in contact with, and i will talk to them directly about what happened.
and then i'll do it again the following year.
and then i'll do it again the following year.
i know the following may sound a bit silly, but if you don't make this right..... then i'm going to tell your mom on you. i really am.


karl/cld/whoever, i am a very vindictive man, and while you may be more clever than me, you certainly are not wealthier than me, and i will pay any amount of money to see you brought to justice. on that same token, i am also a very forgiving man, and if you simply right your wrongs (you don't even have to admit to it) then all will be well in your world.

if you pay us the money you owe us, then everything will be as it was a year ago for you. if don't pay us the money that you owe us, then you will suffer every day for the rest of your life, i promise you this so help me god. the paranoia you're going to encounter...uhg...don't bring it to this, please?
