also as I said before - a few pots leading up to this hand where I was getting shoved on and pressured BvB.

It was more than questionable with hindsight.

I am a bit gutted and sorry at the moment - will need a few moments to think about that.

Something about it looked weak and I guess that should have smelt of a big hand.

I had planned to put in a re-raise to about 1500 till raisydaisy88 called, the shorter stacks to my left had been shoving quite a bit and I thought I'd take it down there. TBH I think that the initial raiser's range was pretty wide as well as the caller and I felt I didn't want to get into a multi way pot with no real fix on their range. If I raise it there I have to make it say >2K and that's a big chunk of my stack before the flop even hits.

It may seem like flawed thinking - I am not convinced my reasoning is sound so I will take all criticisms as I think they are deserved.

I just thought I was way ahead but I completely f'd it up.

Don't worry. I've made some of the worst plays you've ever seen when I've been leading with 50 people left and gone out 40th, it happens to all of us. We just have to improve as a player and see where we are going wrong and use that in the long run. It wasn't the worst play in the world but it wasn't a good one, it just sort of highlights one of the differences between the higher stakes and the low stakes, because in the $4s etc that would probably be profitable because they call with such crap.
But here they are only ever calling with maybe 99 at a push and AK that you're flipping with.

You just got a little too over-excited and tried to force the issue, but you'll have plenty of opportunities in the future like this and will be more patient and not spaz out when someone flats or something.

Yeah usually I would be way more patient and just flatted the raise, look to hit set, fold to any bets with overs on board, but yeah I just totally lost it - my hand hovered over the call button then I had this idea to shove - just spastastic really.

Reason I'm asking is because with 1.2k dead in the pot on the button here you can ship in sooooooooooo wide profitably, even at these stakes they dont call you wide enough. I'd be shipping probably 50% here.

No worries about what you had since its gone, just wanted to try and make sure you're making the most +EV plays and improving as a player. Don't wanna put pressure on and make you do stuff you don't normally want to etc though, lol that you knew I'd pick you up on it.
