5k 6max event update:

errrr basically it was a pretty fast schedule. we started with 8k chips at 25/50 and the blind lvl was only 30 minute long. It didn't take long for me to drop down to like 6.5k.

Then an aggro asian open utg to 600 at 100/200 with 2400 left. folded to me and I 3b/call him with 77. flop KJ6...

I then went into shove/fold mode and managed to picked up few pots. Then I opened AJ at co (still at 100/200) with 3600 in chips (with intention of getting in pre obv.) guy next to me called. flop J77, I cbet 600 (1/2 pot), guy flat. turn Q, check/check. River Q, I check/called his 800 bet and he showed 7777 for the quaddies. lol

After the hand, I was down to like 3-5 bb range and continued to shove/fold mode.
Busto hand was when everyone folded to sb who limped. I snap shove w/ K9dd, he called with Q9o and flopped a Q. gg me.

looking forward to playing the next event as I feel I'm playing pretty well.

2.5k KO bounty event update:

GG. Ran AQ into AA for 60bb pot and obv lost. then I doubled up twice from 600 in chips and then finally got knocked out with my A4o vs a huge stakck's 36o. flop J36ccc (i had Ac for the nut draw). turn 4 river Q. GG.

ME update:

sigh....gg the 5th level in. I don't know what to say except for I was playing well in the beginning, then table started to go really really crazy, then I picked a spot I thought was perfect to make a move on and ran into tho of my target's range.

Detail:

1st lvl:

no read on the villan, table seems okay the first couple of orbits, nothing too crazy or anything. Folds to villain who opens to 300 (50/100), i flat with JTss otb. blinds fold. flop: 789 all diamonds. pfr cbets 450, I decided to take a safer route by just flat calling. Turn: 8s, pfr check/calls my 1300 bet. River: Ks, villain check/tank for 5 secs/call and I obv was ready to ship the pot until he turned over his KJdd for the flopped flush. My stack's down to 15k at this point.

2nd-5th lvl:

table all of a sudden became really nuts with a TON of 3betting, 4 betting going on. It all pretty much between me and the guy on my right and two other guys sitting across from us. Everytime when there's a pfr from one of us 4 guys, the other 3 would pretty much auto 3bet ip or oop.

My 1st 4bet attempt: fail

folds to me in hj and I opened with QTo. btn (one of the guys sitting across from me) instant 3bets. I tanked and tanked and pulled the 1st 4bet bluff and he tanked/shoved. blah.

2nd 4bet attempt: another failure.

guy across me opens utg1 as he always does. guy next to him instant 3bet (also as always) him. folds to me in sb w/ KQdd and I decided to cold-4bet (i have two blockers!!!). I didnt' go so well as the 3bettor announced all in...:S

3rd 4bet attempt: failure and knocked me out.

so at lvl 5, I have about 30k in chips (we start with 20k) and the blinds were at 200/400/50. guy next to me is slightly less, by like 4k. folds to co who opens, and guy next to me is in sb and he 3bets to 3k as expected. I looked down KQhh and decided to jam over as I have 2 blockers and the sb's range/frequency is sooooo wide and often for me to think the move is gotta be +EV at least. So I jammed (i know...a bit too deep for that) and he snaps with AKo and gg me. I could've just flat and reduced the variance but the table dynamic was just really really really insane.

$3000 nlhe event update: started with 5k chips. Now at 15k. Blinds at 100/200. Doing pretty well IMO.

Lvl 150/300/25 update: had 14k to start with the hand. Limpped hj with 34cc vs utg1 big stack fish. Flop K2c5c. Fish bets 400, I made it 1500, he shipped, I snapped. He turned over K2hh for two pair. I binked 6h on the turn and river brought Kc. Fml!!!! Now down to 5.5k. Still enough to work with.

400/800/100 now. Won two allins with AQ both time held against KJ and now have 26k.

Down to 28 players. 16 ITM. Have 42k now at 600/1200/100.

20 left. Have 63.8k. Well over avg chips. Should be fine.

Itm. 14 left. 74k at 1k/2k/300

FT!!!!! 70k. 10 left. Tmr starts at 1pm!

Ft started. First hand, won a side pot vS kk but lost main pot vs ak.
Just snapped called sb's shove with K9 from bb and held against q8. Now at 110k. 8 left

AK held against shorty's AT. 6 left, 130k in chips

6 left at 3k/6k/500. One really short, one okay stack. 4 big ones.

I can never bust this Russian chick on my right. TJ lost to her sb 4 bb shove. She's pretty cute and I got her number. Agreed to hang out when we are both in hongkong in 4 days.

Two big stacks crashed against each other and one is out. 5 left

Just asked PS staff, they told me that the money will be credited to my account within 72 hrs of the finish of the Main Event (i think it's today or tmr). So as soon as I get the fund, I'll transfer the money to you guys based on the number of % each of you have. The conversion rate for PS to convert HKD to USD is 7.8hkd to 1 USD.

also railing the russian chick, she's been running like god! Her first double up was QJ vs JJ and flopped the straight. 2nd double from me. 3rd double up QK vs A9 and flopped AJT for the nuts again. After I busted, her A7 binked the A on the river vs TT and just doubled up with T3dd vs AK on KJ7dd board. wow....Russian luck is pretty damn sick.
