Theres really no other way to play it imo

how is it a mistake? a 3x and a shove are the same with these stack sizes against this field. i was surprised when he flatted to try to stop and go me but it's not like he or I am ever folding any flop. hand plays out the same if i shove and he snaps anyway

Say it's a live tourney, and you're moved to a new table; do you really just shove almost 30 big blinds (I'm assuming blinds are at about 60/120) in this spot? This isn't a 100r on stars with a bunch of regs and you're playing 15 tournies. Your edge in a live tourney is such that I can't believe shoving is $EV... cEV maybe, but not $EV.

(I'm not trying to be disparaging. It's just that I've recently played some live tournies and the play I see live is really bad compared to online and I'm trying to figure out how that should affect how one should play. Maybe you should still push 55-45 edges. I'm not so sure, and I'm really not sure about true flips.)

What is the value of flatting here in 6-max??? We are going to miss the flop most of the time, so unless we plan on bluff raising any flop I don't see this being profitable.. Which given our stack really isn't an option. I guess we can hope for him having Ax or Kx and flop come Ahigh or K high..

Maybe 3bet calling would be better... But, I surely don't think shoving is -EV
