He hasn't been on 2p2, p5s, gmail or played since 3/31, so I'd say it's probably an issue with internet access, health or imprisonment rather than trying to run with what is not a huge amount of funds.

Hey everyone, greetings from Hong Kong.

I will try to make this long story as short as possible. I don't have a laptop anymore. Some sort of hardware failure but it just boots to a black screen. I had it sent in and repaired then it just happened again a few days later and Dell.cn basically told me to go **** myself.

I'm incredibly sorry this has taken so long to talk to you guys about this but there are a few reasons. First one being TwoPlusTwo is blocked in China, and is only accessible via VPN. I am in Hong Kong now on a public computer so I am able to post this. (Hong Kong is not Mainland China and they have uncensored internet.) I tried reaching out to my friend group to use one of their PC's to post here months ago but no one uses a VPN.

Google was also recently blocked in China so I have not had access to any of my e-mails.

It is not only just TwoPlusTwo that hasn't heard from me in a long time. I haven't been able to call any of my family or friends. jmp said I was active on Facebook last month but I most definitely was not - it's just other people tagging me in things. Trust me, not one night has gone by that I haven't been kicking myself over this stake thinking of how I can pay it out.

Now let's talk about the payment. A few months ago, my Paypal balance was -$580 for a reason I couldn't figure out. It turns out when I made a withdrawal (paypal -> bank) they double charged it and charged me late fees, overdraft, etc. Paypal is completely screwed. Months have gone by and this problem still isn't fixed. Photo proof. They keep saying I owe them the money but it's basically impossible, how does anyone even end up oweing money to Paypal? Anyway...

The only thing I can think of is having someone willing to take the money from PokerStars and pay you all out via Paypal. I cannot believe such a small quick hitter stake turned out like this and I am both embarrassed and ashamed. After this is worked out I will probably be leaving 2p2 because I really ****ed up here, there's no excuse that it has taken this long to get in touch with you guys, I should have tried harder to find a way.

I will be heading back to the Mainland later today (literally came here just to post this). I have set up a QQ e-mail account that any of you can contact me at and we can discuss options. 2598074738@qq.com (an e-mail doesn't get more chinese than that lol)

I'm definitely not running away with any funds. I guess the only upside to all of this is that it was such a small stake. Ever since all of this happened I have not played a single hand of anything on PokerStars (or any site for that matter) and I refuse to play (for both personal play and backed play) until all of this is resolved because it is not fair to any of you.

you went mia 3/30... its 7/4... u were posting on fb up until 5/31 then i posted 6/02 and u all the sudden stopped.... i find it near impossible to believe you coudnt of contacted 2+2 in some way in these 3+ months.. esp given ur activity on fb.

Go ahead and take screenshots of all ur transactions in your pokerstars account dating back to when the stake started and post them in here as this is standard for a situation like this..

i see what u did there ^ yes u were not on fb at all last month (june) but all the months prior where u were mia from 2+2 you were def on fb and we have fb message convos all of those months i just didnt know i was apart of this package or i woulda said something..

I read this to mean

1. You were not asked about being a reference, or taking any %, even though that's exactly what's written in the selling OP?
2. These phantom confirmations by him are the biggest initial lies, lending to others of us being duped?


If he's lying from the beginning, then listing a reference, and confirming a % taken is an end around from other times that people ask for references to post in a selling thread.

It's hard to believe it would be that complicated, unless it was really a money grab for six months rent in China or something, but it's also so little money.

I have seen Card08 write in some other threads that he prefers twitter communication, but I don't have that info.
