Lost a few hands and then busted day 2

30 bbs to start the hand. 3bet A4hh on BTN vs MP open, they call.

they lead small, I call

lead again, I call

they check, I shove, they call AQ

When they bet turn I thought they had better Ax, rarely 33, rarely KJ/KT. I thought I was getting odds with nutflush draw and if I missed I would fold river.

When they checked to me on river I took out AQ because I assumed that would bet. So I took out all the nut hands going 3 streets there and shoved just over half pot to get folds from AJ, AT, Ax we chop with. I have all the AA, QQ, AK, AQ. But it was wrong and should have gone to showdown.
