47500 at first break. Decent table, no pros but everyone is pretty tight so far. Only 3 3bs pre in 2 hours. Expecting things to pick up a bit once antes kick in.

Good couple levels, up to 69,500.

A very good main event runner up late regged to the table but hasn’t been too active. Two hands of note-

Brazilian guy in co minraises, I 3b a10 btn and get 3 streets on k10xxx

Other hand: ep limp and 3x iso, I 3b AA. Sb cold calls and looseish isoer peels. I cb 1086 w two diamonds just under half, Sb calls. 8 turn, he checks I check back planning to go biggish on the river. River pairs the 6 and brings the flush, he leads about 2/5. Debate raising but I think he’s folding all worse this early so I call and win vs jj.

Back to 57,500, whiffed a lot of flops but feeling good about the table dynamics and been in a bunch of good spots that didn’t pan out. Had KK utg and lost the min to the bb’s turned gutter w a3, otherwise not much of note.

Really rough couple of levels, down to 16k going to 500/1000 but still in it. Super card dead, the one big hand I played flatted AQo to ep open and co called. 667 two spades flop checked through, flatted opener’s bet on Q turn and co 3xes. I peel and he bets blank river biggish. A bunch of draws missed and he was def active enough to have kqs so I reluctantly call and get shown 7s full.

Ended up bagging 46500, was up to 90k at one point but lost a couple flips with short stacks. Funniest hand was jamming 77 16bb vs a very well known Florida pro’s ep open and him tank calling w 22.

My table broke again, for most of the rest of the night Pierre neuville was on my left with what looked like 600k and was ****ting on everyone. I found a couple good spots but for the most part had to nit it up a lot more than I’d like. Generally happy with how I played, mightve missed some value in a couple spots but looking forward to the Sunday restart

day 2 sweats are always good

Best couple of levels so far, lost a hand right before break and forgot to count my stack before leaving but believe it’s about 140k. I also somehow found a quasi shady parking spot at the zoo that is the Rio today so running well 4 significant hands:

1. Limp kk utg, mp who just lost a big pot jams 18bb mp and I call and hold vs aqo.

2. Tight older gentleman opens utg and I flat jj mp, very good former November 9er squeezes 22bb in the big. Utg folds, I call and win the flip vs kqs.

3. Folds around to the Sb and me in the bb, he limps and I check a2s. Flop is 952s, he checks I bet and he calls. 10 ott brings the flush. He checks again, I bet and he cr’s just over 3x. I flat as he has about 2/3 pot behind. River is another suited king but he sticks it in, I snap and win vs his 95o.

4. Folds around to the button, a good British pro with around 300k for the table chip lead. He opens and we defend aj spades bb. Obv usually a 3b but he’s flatting a ton and putting me in a lot of bad spots, and there have been much better spots at this table. Flop is k72 w a spade, he bets and we call. Turn is a 10, check check. River pairs the 10, I check and he tank 1.5x overbets. I wanna call but my hand is pretty face up and he seems extremely calm, so I let it go.

Sry I didn’t update for a bit, hectic last couple breaks with getting food. Hand for hand on the bubble with 422k so doing well, the table has gotten a bit tougher with one of the chip leaders on my right and a good pro 3 to the left but have managed to avoid tangling with them too much. Lost a couple flips with short stacks earlier then chipped back up to ~200 by getting a few medium bluffs through. Double up hand-

Ep open from a tighter player who hasn’t opened in a while, I wake up w kk mp and jam 19bb as I think they’re raise calling reasonably often and a 3b looks way too strong. Instead sb tanks and eventually calls, we hold vs ako.

Good end to the day as well! Bagged 601k, had close to 900 at one point but lost a bunch of small pots and then one 350k one.

Can’t remember the exact hh but opened aqo, btn defended q9o and stationed 9s on a109x, he rivered another 9 and led big. Almost got away from it cause it felt he was never bluffing or betting worse but I clicked call. Otherwise pretty happy with how I played the day and avoided any really awkward spots considering the table got progressively more stacked, although that’s probably the norm at this point. Feeling good going into tmrw!

Edit- refunding the 800 deepstack as we have something better to play

Thanks! Just busted for $4418 unfortunately but was super card dead today. Only had one playable hand the 1st level but dodged a few squeeze spots where I would’ve busted earlier.

2nd level I opened 10s and Sb defended a6s, made a flush and took about 200k. Couple hands later I was down to 8bb, jammed kqo Sb over mp open and lost to 9s.
