Il have a longer writeup last two days when i get to a computer.

So so far we are 0/2 in the Opening Event. These reviews are mostly collaborated from memories a few days ago, and fb messages, so there might be a small mistake or two in HH's...

------------------

Opening event 1B had a reasonable starting table. Oliver G was the only recognisable Aussie Pro from the beginning.

The first level went poorly without being able to win a pot postflop. Start stacks are 100bb so there isn't as much room to move compared to the average ANZPT style event. However, I managed to stick and got the right side of a cooler QQ vs JJ against a good player to eventually get my stack to 19k.

Other than that, it was hard to string a few pots together, and I hovered between 10-20 for pretty much the entire night.

Got a few table changes and eventually found my demise at 300-600-75.

I opened KK from UTG to 1300. A few folds, MP makes it 3600. Folds back to me, AI for 13k, he calls with AQ. Flop Ace high, all over.

--------------------------

1C had a relatively soft starting table again, with only Raj R on my immediate right as a noticeable. Early on start was great, I had a decent distribution of hands pre and post, and played pretty well for the most part, doubling my stack in the first two levels.

Fun hand with Raj. First hand of BvB. He limps, we check J3o

FLOP: 300: A43r

He check, we bet 200, he call

TURN: 700: J rainbow

He check, we bet 425, RR c/r to 1100, we call

RIVER: 2900: 5

He bets 3500, we sigh call and lost to 92cc

We managed to spin it back up and in similar fashion to yesterday, grinded a mid-stack without ever finding that double up to get us out of the 15-30bb zone where we have little choice but to play relatively ABC.

Bustout hand was interesting/close.

We have 23k at 500-1000.

Folds to button, who is a fish who has been pretty straight forward up to this point. I don't think he was too positionally aware based on other hands, so when he opened the button to 3600, I didn't think he was opening up too much, if at all.

We have ATdd, and elect to defend. I would have probably just shoved vs the average joe punter who had a wider opening range from CO + button.

We flopped 789 and check-jammed over a c-bet. He called with a set of eights, and turned us dead with a full house.

Disappointing, but its early days yet.

--------------------------

Plan is to play tomorrow. I have extended my accomodation for another week, and might play some other events. Il be in contact with those who have a piece about either rolling over unused buy-ins (all for $1150 level events such as the Hall of Fame event) or for selling a new package.

Participation in the Main Event at this point is still uncertain, but I will update when I know.

Hi all

There is a $500 + $200 super sat on tomorrow at 2pm.

I intend to play it, and it is possible that this tournament runs beyond the start time of the Shootout event.

I intend to play the sat, and if my run in the sat lasts longer than the start of the Shootout I will skip it, and markup etc... will be refunded to the investors

Any questions dont be afraid to ask, I have msg'd those who have a piece

Thanks

Quick update to how the rail is going so far.

In summary, not so well.

So far

3x Open Event
Mix Max
6 Max

Have all been bricked out. Came ~75th in the 6max with 53 paid. Shoved 22 UTG for a shade over 12bb (which is basically right on the borderline, but had a BB I thought wouldn't call wide enough). Someone behind had 99, and that was GG for me.

I sold for 12 bullets, so far have used 5. After discussions with investors, I will play the bounty on stake. Bounty is a $1650 event instead of $1150, but I will play with the same absolute markup, but at a lower rate (works out at 1.121 as opposed to 1.174). It is a great event on a weekend, so should be a good spot, far better than the Shoot-Out would have been for example. Those with a piece should have a msg from me on twitter/fbook to discuss this.

Hopefully we can turn it around starting with the accumulator tonight.

Cheers mullet man.

We got short early and ended up folding into the money. Once in money we shoved AKss and lost to QT.

Cashed for 2690 and now in the bounty event. I was made a bounty so I get my commission back. As such, event and MU will be based on 1500 entry fee not 1650.

We currently have 12k started with 15k
