Also, updates after this are going to be clean and simple and short, while showing all the statistical info we'll need. Thanks guys, have a nice Sunday.

^ So a sick fold and river, but it was the right play. Notice I'm also betting more than pot...sigh.

^^ Bust hand, supposed to be 9 handed but I'm using this converter for the first time. More importantly, I started with 35, not 50 (3.5k, not 5k) Anyway just silly and I cant hold huge fav's.

$75 tournament, 5k added, 226 players, over 18k prize pool, no cash. My friend who I went with final tabled and couldn't hold 88 vs A-6 off all in pre and busted 6th (I think or 7th) for $720. Almost 6k for first...argh I wound up sweating him and advising him, he's a poker enthusiast but not great at the game. He gave me 10% of him for the sweat. That kind of killed our cash games plans as he tired from this so we decided to go home. I'll have a full week of play ahead.

So besides posting hands for kicks once and a while, here's how the updates will mostly look:

Starting BR: $5,418
June 12th session: Tournament -$3
current BR: $5,415
Hours: 6
Day: 3
Days played:3

Weird, works for me. You have to press "play" though. Let me know if it doesn't work for others though, I'll try and find another converter. It has an "embed" option but that didnt work here so I just tried linking right to it.

Did not play Monday. This is a 4-8 game. I'm being cautious and playing low for the first 8-10 sessions.

Nice - first profitable day is the hardest. Now just keep doing what you do - results will follow.

Nice job booking a win bro. I really admire your discipline in moving down to 4/8 and grinding it back up.

Thanks!

I'm gonna take today off. I think the best days to take off are Monday and Wednesday and will try to keep it to those days or close (early week).

Also, I have some errands to do today but I may set up a google docs spreadsheet tonight and have it be private and send investors an invite/password. There's a decent amount of Seattle area players around here and I don't want to give off any free info. Note the random guy above lol

Kinda makes me want to jump right into the $5 spread limit games (NL) but I'm gonna do what I think is best for us and safest and that's easing our way in. This plan has time so there's no reason to hastily rush things and losing 3-5 buy ins, which can happen and does, would not be ideal so early in this. I imagine by July 1st I'll be playing those full time though. They are great games and actually better for us than limit, but I'd like to enter them with momentum rather than being concerned with protecting the BR.

Hey all,

Setting up a private area now and will PM each of you the details. I'll update totals there. Also, be prepared for a little more swings (hopefully upwards!) as I'm moving to the $5 NL games. I'll step down if needed (if I lose like 5 buy ins) but the games are just too good and friends I've been going with are making 1,000's a pop so since we have a roll for it, it's time to start playing them.

updating the list as I received El Tigre's payment.

me 25%
donkeriffic 20 shares (A)10% (B)10% (confirmed/payment coming)
5204Salty 11 shares (A)11% (paid)
El Tigre 10.5 shares (A)10.5% (paid)
JustinZee 10 shares (A)10% (paid)
danton32 9 shares (B)9% (paid)
Brinzotti 5 shares (A)5% (paid)
deke971 5 shares (A)5% (paid)
ubettercall 2.5 shares, (A) 2,5% (paid)
Birgit70 2 shares, (A)1% (B)1% (paid)

I wound up playing Wed night even though I thought I wouldn't. I didn't play Thursday. I have to watch my Nephews today as a favor to my brother and depending when he gets back I might play a small session tonight or might not be able to.

Starting BR: $5,529
June 14th session: cash games +$176
current BR: $5,705
Hours: 5
Day: 7
Days played:5

That's 4-8 again and to be honest about the best that can be done in those games, barring completely running over the table for hours on end. It's limit and the rake is high so I actually did kinda run over the table for a couple hours so there's not a whole lot in those games. I'm gonna start playing the NL500 games because it's time and that's where the real money is. If I lose 5 buy ins I'll step down but we gotta take a shot. I planned on playing them pretty much the whole time anyway but with the -$660 first day start I decided to put on the brakes because that was unexpected.

That said there's just too much to be made in those games and this is about making money so we go. I'll put on the brakes if needed again, but I'm not gonna think like that for now.

Wanted to get this update down as I have to go and didn't get the spread sheet up yet. I'll do that asap. Have a nice weekend ev1

June 14th session: cash games +/- $0
current BR: $5,705
Hours: 4 1/2

That's right, $0. We were a big favorite to have a +$1,500 or more day as I was up $605. At the first table I sat I doubled up exactly ($200 to $400) and it got short handed so I went and had dinner then came back and sat at another table and bought in $200 and had won $405 more having a $605 stack.

The last hand of the session (I was planning on playing a couple more hours but left after this) I had AA in MP with one limper. I made it $25 and the button makes it $75. BB shoves like $265 and I call (more on this later, but I don't think it matters and/or is the right play for value) and button calls. Flop is 8-7-3 with 2 clubs and I bet $340 all in, button calls

Board runs out 8d-7c-3c-Qc-Jd and button (who started with like $1k) has QQ, BB has AK. Queens hit the two outer and I pick up a flush draw with it but nah. Pretty frustrating obviously.

Beyond the final hand result, I played well and snug and found the game very soft. I did no more than played a-b-c poker and didn't get out of line at all. I bought in 200 (40BB's) and tripled up with JJ VS KJ and KQ on a J-7-K board and held. I lost some value on the hand (I think?) because I would normally have more than the ~$185 I had so just to let you guys know I'll be buying in $300 which is the plan from the get go but since this was the first night at these games I decided to buy in $200.

We are 10% through. I think the start is the hardest part for sure. If I double the roll it's going to be A LOT easier to focus just on these good games as I'll have a total of 40 $300 buy ins. It's a little snug at the start though. That said, let's gogogo! I'm pumped because yet again a friend I went with made almost a grand. In 4 trips with friends they are up a combined $8k or so. I'm gonna try and play a few more good sessions before my week in Palm Springs that starts on the 23rd.

Also, spreadsheet is coming still, my stamina is a bit low from being an internet poker player for the last 3 years I hope to get to it by Monday

Got a text from an investor today asking why the spreadsheet hasn't been updated. I responded to him and figured I should post here in case anyone else forgot. I'm in Palm Springs, California for a Family reunion. I left the 23rd and will be home the 30th. I plan to hit the tables long and hard thereafter, I'll be nice and refreshed.

On another note, there's a bit of a problem at the moment. It doesn't affect you guys at all right now but if not resolved it's going to cause an issue. I don't know what the solution will be if unresolved but I hope to get it worked out by the time I get back.

Have a nice week everyone!

Also, there is an update that needs to be made to the spreadsheet. I'll just say it's positive. Between playing/packing for the trip and not being at my home computer (with passwords/links/etc) I didn't get it down onthe spreadsheet.

I'll do that on Thursday night when I'm back.

Back, refreshed, and ready to grind all weekend. Spreadsheet is up to date with a recent entry made tonight. It's also the beginning of july tonight/tomorrow so I'm gonna look over the various casinos and see if I can get in a couple/few good value mtt's for this month to give us a few cheap shots.

Goal is to be in the $500 nl games full time and buying in max this month. I suggest reading last input's comments in the spreadsheet for more on the thinking and why etc.

As far as the issue mentioned in an above post, it should be a non issue tomorrow. Sorry to be vague but it's honestly of no concern to you guys at the moment and should be no concern at all if history stays true.

Right, I'm just babbling away in the comments section I think it's a decent mix because the ppl that just want to look at results can do that easily, and the ppl that would like thoughts/hands/etc can read in the comments section that seems to allow unlimited text.

If you guys ever want to join in or have any suggestions/questions or whatever, we can hop on skype/AIM/2p2 PM or even give me a call. Just lmk. I wish there was a way to have interactive chat or something, like you guys being able to leave comments, but to do that would mean anyone can edit the numbers as well and because the spreadsheet is available to anyone with the link to it, it's not a good idea to have others be able to edit it.

Did Nofx Fan ever get back to you guys or are you still waiting for your monies? He posted lotsa info about how reputable he is and used his 2+2 creds then disappears with investor cash?

Is there any speculation on what this guys plan was? It looks like after repeatedly talking down all the live action/players in Seattle he couldn't beat the game, and played to high.
