Out of Milly B in a dramatic fashion. Before we go there, started with 25K at EOL1. We are out by EOL2. So, that was a quick in and out in a short time.

Had a few decent starting hands, but missed flops got us down to 12K from 25K.

Then hit a str8 on an open ended flop and got back to 18.5K. Lost a small pot to reach 15.1K. Then the dramatic hand played out.

There was a 4 way limp pot for 200, we were one of them with A10os. BB makes it 800. All call. Pot 4Kish.

F:AK10, bets 1200, heads up. Pot: 6400ish
T:7 bets 1200, raise to 3K, re-raises to 6300, flat. Pot: 19K
R:10 He leads for 6500, we had 6800 behind. We ship it to see this!

Surviving the Warrior

This is a nice event. 500BI/50K SS.

Sat down at Paris/Black/45 and didn’t move till the bust out hand. It was a good start, the first two hands being:


H1 on B, our J high flush beats his 7 high flush. J9os on a 910Q 2s flop.

H2 our AKos was good for a river bet on a missed board.

Entered the event in L2. Made a few hands and had the following progression:

1) EOL3, 57600, we added 7600 chips, 2811 entries and counting.

2) In L4, 24 mins left, 2953 entries:

Won a decent pot w78d.

Call a raise 1200 4 way on button.
F:69A 1d bets 3K
T: 8 bets 4500, call
R:5, checks, fire 10500, tank calls!

3) EOL4, 75K, 3108.

4) EOL5, 75.8, 3288 entries.

5) EOL 6, Second Break, 68.3K, 3605.

6) EOL8: 56.5K, 4021.

Took a little hit.

Aggressive guy to my right makes it 2500 (remember him, we will call him 106os) we are three way to flop.

F: 8910 2d, cbets 4K call, still 3 way
T: Kd checks, fire 8K, heads up
R:10 checks around

Shows Q10os, we had K8s for turned 2 pair.

7) Lost a few chips with AKos, opened got called, missed flop, he sticks around for a CBet and I give up on later streets.

8) 106os ran hot against us and we took a few hits in the last 4 hands. AQ missed the flop, JQs miss the open ender 910367 board, he had Q6 etc.,

9) In L8, reached the lowest point of 21K.



10) Registration Closed at the End of L8. In L9 we picked 10Jc and shipped it on the following flop:



V snap calls with AQ. We brick turn and river. GG 2 US!
