I will use this 2p2 thread to capture daily wrap ups, some interesting spots, and basic communication. The more immediate method of communication will be via Twitter (@chimp_poker)

I will arrive in Berlin between 08:00-09:00. The plan is to go straight to the spielbank after checking into apartment, then pre register for 2 bullets in Event 2 (unsure if 2a or 2b yet, will depend how I feel after travels) and the monster stack. After communicating with WSOP staff they expect a large turnout for Event 2 and cannot gtd a seat, but when we make day 2 we can unregister unused bullets/refund.

Looking closer at WSOP/Spielbank´s schedule, it appears that there is a €275 Turbo that runs nightly. If investors agree--if there is an unused bullet from Oktoberfest, we could use to play a couple of these as filler games (should there be time during the week). It would give us more opportunities to make this as profitable as possible. Let me know.

So arrived earlier today, couldnt check into my room so I walked what was suppose to be 3 city blocks to Spielbank ended up to be closer to 4km.

I registered 2a for first bullet. First level was kind to us, spun up to 7500 from 5000. Level 2 we get into a bit of a battle...

Folds to MP youngish kid kicking a straw around in his mouth and has starting stack, he 3x we call from BU with AQsd, sb/bb fold. Flop comes low but coordinated (689css). He CBs around halfpot, we cautiously call. Turn 4s. He slows down, I bet smallish to get his AK and small pairs to fold, and his draws to come along. River is a brick and it goes ck ck. He flips KKsx. So we lost min there.

I was seeing some flops ip and not getting there or good spots to put pressure. Then I had and ok bluff spot that got looked up by an underpair (whatta hero).

With blinds increasing, we had 11bb @1/200. BB was short but too tight for his stack size and last hand before break. So UTG +1 opens (pretty high VPIP to this point), folds to us in MP, so we rip A4cc figuring even if BB calls (we cover) it gives OR odds to call with his garbage. It folds to BU (earlier kid with KK) and he over jams to iso me... fold fold. 389cxx5x and we do NOT Greenstein him.

Back at room now, pre purchased 2b. Gonna freshen up, chill, and get ready for a longer run tonight.

Exhausted and gonna sleep... sorry about lack of updates as my phone died. This tournament plays pretty turbo after a few hours in. You need a bit of luck on your side and we havent had that with 2 bullets so far.

2b I finally got some hands... well... JJ 3xs to be exact. We lost a bit to a rivered K in one spot, got a double up in anther, and busted out in a 3b pot to 75 when he turned trips.

Back at it again tomorrow.

Unfortunately bullet 3 didnt work either. Cruised until I ran QQ into AA. Then hung a bit longer until 88 couldnt hold vs A7.

So frustrating!

I am going to fire the dreaded 4th and final bullet. If anyone wants a piece at no MU, just post here and we can settle later. Just need ya to post by 7pm so I can sell a little here if needed.

Ok, fired 4th and final bullet at Event 2 and failed miserably... OUT HAND

Cant really say much about that... asking some people if there was anything I could do differently. Just need to clear my head and move on. I drank my tilt away last night so Im long over it.

But because we bricked the first event and I feel terrible about it, gonna give all investors a 2% freeroll in my online play today. Only sold 20% to buddy who asked for it. Here is the schedule of the freeroll:

We essentially bricked last night on two smallish scores for the freeroll. Here for the remaining event, monster stack. Starts in 7 min... stuck me down in the basement so we have the challenge of leveling up until at the main stage. Lets go!

Also, just so everyone knows... I sold a little here. So far another 5% and waitimg to hear back about 10%

Monster stack wasn´t meant to be like every other tournament on this trip. I showed, well rested and ready to play. From the moment the cards were put into the air to the the time I hit the rail (approx 3 hrs) I was fairly card dead. There were only 2 (maybe) 3 difficult players at the table, rest were basically average. Long story short, we chip down over two hours trying to make something happen but ran into resistance and folded when we felt we were beat or didn´t have the correct price to continue. Starting stack was 15K, we hit 10K by first break. (2hrs).

a little after break, our chips go up and down 1k each way for the next level. Then the dreaded out hand, We defend BB with 34o (a bit loose but we were deep and given excellent price). MP opens 2.5x @ 100/200/25, CO, BU, and SB call-- so we defend. Flop comes 4h4s5h, inside I cant breath because I picture at least a double up, it goes ch-ch- OR CBs 1.1K-call-call-call- our decision??? We have just over pot size bet behind. We rip and run into the most disastrous and unlucky hand combo. Pic explains.
