32k going into 150/300/25. Another live? french pro on my left, Erwann pecheux. The other 6 players appear to be amateurs of varying degrees of weakness. It should be a pretty profitable table... We've already had one 7 way pot pre flop;-)
85k going into the dinner break. Two interesting hands, both of which involved me over being the river:
On the first I have 76s in the hijack on kqj9k. I opened pre and got called by the button, sb, and bb. It got checked through on flop and turn. I figured that I could represent a full house if I over bet and my 1.5x pot bet took it down.
On the second I had AA 3 off the button on AQs2s9Q. Local amateur who had never once folded to a 3 bet (in like 4 times) opened to 1100, I 3 bet to 2750, he called. Turn for checked through. He check called a 1/3 pot bet on the turn and a 1.5x pot river bet.
Ran card dead and got down to 60k. Then I got it all in pre with 99 vs AKs and somehow held on T6s4sJ. I'm up to 145k going into the last level of the day 1.2/2.4k
Ugh... Busted 30 minutes into the day. I lost 2/3 of my chips with KsJs on AQ8s54 when I opened to 7k 4 off the button, got 3 bet by the hijack to 17k and called. He bet 14k into 42k on the flop and I called. The turn was checked through and then I bet 65k into 70k (putting my opponent all in) unfortunately he had the hand I was replying, AQ.
Two hands later I have Jd9c in the BB. The hijack min open raised, and I called. The board of TdT62d8d got checked through on flip and turn. I figured he had Ace high a ton of the time and I block some two diamond combos and a lot of TX combos with bad kickers that he'd slow play. I bet 25k into 17k (I can have full houses, flushes and straights) but he had slow played T7s and called my bluff.
Three hands later I shove 6bb with pocket queens, get called by A4s and double up to 42k.
Three hands later I min open raise 5 off the button with Ac3c and the big blind calls. I cb 4.2k into 17k on 8c8s4s and the big blind check raises all in for a slightly more than pot sized raise. I think he does that with any pair or any draw (but rarely with trips), but he shouldn't have a ton of 4s since he folds most pre and he probably shoves a lot of his pocket pairs preflop . I'm ahead of most of his draws so I reluctantly call. He unfortunately has AsJs and I don't improve.
A pretty sad way to end a nice first two days. I'm pretty happy with my play. Thanks for investing!
