WSOP begins.....starting with Event #4 $5000NLH 72% to Max.

The field was as expected, pretty tough, with a small increase over last year's numbers.....which is a good sign for the poker industry. It's going to be a fun season from here on out and I'm looking forward to the action that the series brings. As for today, cooleraments took me down the whole way and busto.

Also, Max wanted me to be semi-discreet over mark-ups so I am only going to update #'s at a semi basis. Hopefully a big score intervenes all! We'll see how the series go. Rooting for the MaxFund!

Well it is pretty fun going from a 5k table with no spots, to a 1k wsop with most of the field being lol. All was going going smooth, one time all in with AK on a AA7K board vs A8s calling my 3bet. Built up good until getting AA aipf vs KK for over 100bb's in a turbo-ish early structure. K flop meh to cripple n out. Feeling good, only cards can stop me. We'll see how it goes!!!

Welp, was going decent again then got it in for a nice pot with the best of it, he hits nh gg. Triple chance tmrw, looking forward to it!

Event #12 $1500 Triple Chance, 54% to Max.

Busto busto, whatcanyado.........back at it tmrw for the shootout, feeling good.

Event #13 $1500 shootout, 56% to Max.

So so sick, so sick, poker. Made it heads up for a grueling 4 hour heads up match where I was basically crushing him down. He started with a slight chip advantage, where I grinded out a 4:1 advantage, to double him aipf and get him back in it. Ground him down some more, and doubled him. Happened 3 times where he won all and took the advantage. I then got it all in for my stack for the first time all round, to have the best and busto. Sigh.

Busto, was playing well and built good, to get crushed by the monks. It's good to see though that there is still, and most likely always will be, a lot of value in these. I'm taking the V off tmrw to be ready for the weekend wsop.

Event #18 $1500, 54% to Max.

Well busto with a big flip after dinner break vs a drooler. He was going crazy after we got back, and it was inevitable to get in. 1010 vs his AK. First time all in pre the whole tourney as well, which would have left me rolling. At it tomorrow for the 1k for another big field. Today's was the biggest of any $1500 WSOP event ever, so it's looking good. 3157 runners.

Event #20 $1000, 44% to Max.

Made day 2 for tomorrow. Ended with 20k in chips, which was a grind after losing a 8k pot during the 25/25 level to a bare flush draw when I had the nut suit. Hour 1k level next on the bubble with the average at 27k.....looking to go on a run. The field began with 3175 runners with the board saying 331 left, PokerNews reports 342....324 itm. We'll see how it goes!

Good luck Blake! I'll be pulling for ya. I don't think you'll have a problem getting your stack in good and hope you can hold. That's the toughest part of the game, of which there is no solution, but you gotta start with the 80/20's and if you can win those you might be on the road to winning some 70/30's.

Start winning those then you get good at winning a few key flips and you take a 3k+ runner wsop field down and life is good and you suddenly love poker again and can think you have some control again

You'll get ITM then you'll find lot's of good spots to shove and pick up, or shove and double up. Lot's of first time winners so far, no reason you can't be one too. gl

Haha I've been flipping a quarter in the backyard and been getting pretty smooth with it! =) I love poker regardless......
