bustout hand from the 1k on sunday :

lag asain kid opens min from mp - he was playing roughly 90 vpip

i 3 bet smallish from the c/o

flop 9 3 2 and he check calls a small bet

turn j and he check calls another 1/2 pot bet

riv k and he check calls of all of it (nearly psb) it was for nearly all of his chips

he tables 77

feeling like **** today i so skipped out on the 1500 - figured it wasn't fair to you guys or myself to play when i wasn't like i could play well today. weird i got 11 hours of sleep last night too. obv this money will be refunded when i send out the money after this weekends 1k.

sorry if this upsets anyone, i just wasnt feeling it at all today and would rather just give refunds then spaz off my stack cause i didnt wanna be there

i should be more specific,,, i wasnt hung over or anything. last few nights ive been getting crushed in cash games, so ive been on poker/life tilt...then last night sat at rio for 5 hours waiting to check in to a hotel i reserved and pre-paid from a fellow 2+2er...finally at 10 pm i find out he gave the room to someone else and i was outta luck. leaving me barely any time to get last minute accommodation for the night and next few nights while my girl is in town visiting.

i feel real bad about missing the tourney today but there was just no way i would of been able to play + ev poker...i promise this wont happen again

I totally agree not to play when you arent feeling up for it so good for you on being sensible - only slight suggestion would be is there on other 1.5k you can squeeze in instead? If not then a refund is fine imo, just would be cool if there was another event you could play and ship instead!

As of now i plan on playing the 1500 shootout Monday to make up for the 1500 i missed for package 1...if anyone is against that please speak up and i will refund your % for this event and buy the remainder myself. thanks

Also I had $1100 budgeted for side events for package 2. I played 1 $350 vdse. leaving $750. since im going to be at rio all week id like to play a $550 mega to the main. if i win a seat i will play the main and you can either xfer your % to the main or take your money from the 10k win. with this new plan package 2 will have $200 worth of unused buyins which will be refunded as well.

just busted the 1k

4150 stack. blinds 75/150 - utg opened to 500 with 2k-2500 behind (she had done all sorts of redic things so far so im super happy to see this)...tilted older guy shoves for 950 or so. im on button with QQ, so i jam. bb snap shoves like 8 1k chips into the pot, utg folds after much anguish claiming to lay down the monster 99. aa>QQ>tt

im working on getting some stars money for sending out payments...if you sent me stars but would take ftp payment please let me know...payments for package 1 will be done after completion of the 1500 shootout (monday june 21) or a few days later if i make a big score and have to put the funds back online

i sent all all the ftp payments and as many of the stars payments as i could. i will be getting some more stars funds in next couple days, until then if you haven't received payment and can take ftp let me know, thanks

ya i played the 1500 shootout, i did twitter updates while i was playing. table was pretty tight with a few decent players. too bad the two worst players at the table took turns making every draw and winnng every single pot for the 3.5 hours i was in. i got nearly all of my playable hands utg and was never able to get anything going. i end up shoving 11bb with 33 and getting tank called by the bb with AQ. lost the flip to a rivered straight.

i sent out a few more payments - still working on getting some stars money for the people i havent paid

all of the package 1 is now paid

busted the 1500 for package 2 yesterday during 75/150 level.

utg opened to 500 and i flatted with 99. flop ak9 he bets 350 and i call. turn k and he checks. i elect to check back to induce bets on river and let him catch up somehow if he has the turned spade draw. riv completes flush, he checks i bet 1350 and he shoves for 4k and i make the crying call. he tables the AA. im left with 1.5 bb.
