Hi out there! I'm a former full time midstakes grinder who moved away from full time poker in 2016 and in the last few years have put my energy into my writing career. Currently, I am employed as a full time ghostwriter for fiction and non-fiction content. I'm looking to move away from ghostwriting and into publishing my own content. I'm currently part of a reputable marketing strategy team (similar to high end poker coaching) with money-back guaranteed results, however, writing is a time consuming endeavor and spending on advertising, editing, cover art, etc. is not cheap, and working on projects to pay the bills while also working on my own content is a lot of work.

Accordingly, I would like to sell a percentage of sales on the fiction content I produce during the coaching program. I am looking to sell up to 30 shares for $500 each to raise a total of $15,000, which would cover the cost of the training program as well as other associated costs, such as cover art, editing, amazon ads, etc.

One $500 share entitles you to 1% of all future sales on the first book in a six book series as well as 0.5% on all future sales of the remaining five books in the series. Based on the guarantee from the coaching/training company and from reviews from people I know personally who have studied in the same program, I'm expecting that after two years, one share would yield a minimum of $1,750 per year, paid out monthly as I receive sales data from Amazon, which you would also have access to.

Since this does involve potential risk, I am also offering the ability to sell back your shares to me at any time after two years (July 1, 2025) for any reason, with a 25% markup. This means you can return your share to me at any time after the training program has ended and receive $625 per share. Based on my work done so far and experience in the industry I am highly confident this would be a profitable purchase, but I wanted to provide a buyback option to make the investment profitable even in a worst case scenario where the books are not profitable.

A contract can be provided as well as regular accounting of the spending of funds throughout the writing and publishing process. I'm not sure the best way to establish my credibility beyond that but I am open to any reasonable solutions.
