HIMi need it 80 by 80 and the lettering in a differnt color than yellow so you will be able to read it. other than that its fineIts fine now but obviously when its time to pay you change your story

Well, I got an avatar for free from Op after i made i suggestion that he thought to be helpful. He was even kind enough to do it right away.

And even though though i liked the work he done for me i said i had something different on my mind and he had the willingness to redo the avatar when he could have just leaved it at that.

On a side note, I can tell you from personal experience that if you ever want to make any kind of money doing graphic design, even as a side thing, you'd better get used to people rejecting your work and asking for assloads of revisions. I mean you started this thread looking to make $50 for avatars? I couldn't get that (I doubt even Admo or one of those guys could either), but even $10 is a lot for what some people do for free. If you want to charge that kind of money (or any money), expect people to be demanding.

he does good work and if u don't like how it comes out he will redo it without a peep. sounds like he is being worked over by people but what else would u expect from the scum out there.

Im perfectly fine with people rejecting my work and asking for assloads of revisions.

But thats not the case here. I gave him the product. He said it was fine and wanted minor changes. He then even asked for a background version. I did the changes, when it came time to get paid he didnt even notify me he wanted a change-I would have been happy to change it one hundred times.

He just changed his story 180degrees and tryd to throw me under the bus. Definately not cool, and definately not rejecting my work. Simply stiffing me after he got both of the desings. And I will do everything in my 43 post power so that everyone knows.

I dont expect you to ban him. But is there nothing i can do to notify the community of his shifty ways? A report button? Maybe a temp ban?

Rory, I've done some graphic design work in the past...

First off, making something for someone then asking them how much they think they should pay you is just ridiculous.

Second of all, 50$ is way overcharging considering you have seemingly no graphic design background, art background, and seemingly little photoshop background

THen he said he wanted the background. I told him that it was stated it was $50. I then said negotate away etc, buyer is king etc...etc..etc.

Helpful Sugguestion: When you send people the avatar put 'test' or something similiar across the picture so that people can see what it looks like and if they want the real one they pay you the money and you give it to them without the text?
