WTB: Synergy Program Help

The program is supposed to allow me to use 1 mouse and keyboard to control 2 computers over 2-4 monitors.
It looks insanely simple, but I can't figure it out and the youtube clips are old versions. I have no idea what the going rate for this type of job. I think I have the basic's set up, but clearly I'm missing something.
Paypal easiest way to pay right? Team viewer and Skype to get the job done?
Lemme know when and prices, asap would be nice
