I'm a former semi-professional poker player. In 2010 I stopped playing full-time when my oldest daughter lost her mother at the age of 29. Life had different plans that were quite different than my long-term poker and life goals. I'm happy it did because raising my daughter has been a pure joy.

I have studied and grown with the game of poker over the years. I've stayed up to date with new strategies, professional players, places to play, and the latest news over the years. My poker skillset paid the rent or saved us from financial disaster several times. Unregulated online gaming just didn't seem to be a secure landscape to raise a family. During my time away from the tables I have grown much wiser.

Five years ago I was diagnosed with ADHD and then properly medicated for it. This changed my life because it helped me learn to think more clearly. I also gained a degree in political science and a degree in business. These factors along with the fact that I have been crushing nearly every poker game I play lately have me thinking I could be a special player. I'm looking for a staking opportunity to help me prove that. I've been looking into blogging as well as writing articles for the local paper and potentially some places online.
