for those who are going omgz it's a 395 for a 24" when i could be spending only 250, from what i hear it's worth it and you won't find a monitor that's even close in quality.

Don't forget about the resolutions guys. If you're getting a 1080 rather than a 1200 or better, you should be paying a lot less. There's not all that much difference between a 24" and a 22" at the same res.

Something like the 1920 x 1200 one JL posted is the way to go for poker players, if you're going to bother upgrading at all.

If it's for gaming/movies get the LG because it got sick reviews

The new x1080s aren't going to be terrible for poker, but you will have a tiny bit of overlap. If you can afford it, you will never be unhappy that you went with a x1200, that extra bit of real estate is awesome.

I have the 28" hanns g. Bought it about 6 months ago and haven't had many problems with it.

Only problem I had was for the first week or two it seemed to get hot really fast and had a distinct hot smell. Since then I have had no problems whatsoever.
