Here I concentrated on workbook-feeling. It's expensive, but you work with it every day for unlimited time, and it can take a lot of heat.

I like this one too - but looks like your blacks in the spade and club, do not match the background - is the background rich black and the spade and club just black? (too nitty?)

I prefer it with a slight contrast, it helps the spade and club pop out as a part of the font, not the background. I'm loathe to praise an entry that isn't mine, but at least I'm not dropping back-handed compliments

Doesn't matter to me in any case, I'm working on another one to blow this out of the water.

Of course I like mine, and it would be awesome to win $500 - and up until this entry by Ashinynickel, I felt most entries were pretty poorly designed and messy. They looked like they were done by people with minimal Photoshop training and no design training.

So mine aside, Ashinynickel's entry does get my vote.
