I am going to be playing in EPT Barcelona because I received a good deal from stars on the package. However, This is way more then I would like to have.in myself. I am looking to sell about 75% of myself at 1 to 1 (meaning you get 1$ per 1 you buy). I do not have a ton of live experience, but I am a solid winning msnl reg and in this field if expect to have a pretty high roi. Its just too much variance for my roll. so, how much is the full buy in amount?

Sorry, the full buyin amount is 8000€, but the amount in USD is 12624. You can buy the piece on any day but it will say daily at the current exchange rate. Once you've bought then its finalized.

i thought ICM didn't really matter for tournaments.

whats the minimum I can buy?

Just saying I understand about push/shove spots. Minimum % is gonna be 3%.

Couple of quick notes.

I will be gone July 6th to August 10th in Europe, However I will still be accepting pieces while I am gone until I hit the cap I want to sell. In order to finalize a piece you have to pm me and I have to RECIEVE the money, in order for that days rate to be what is locked in. (Its sort of wierd with exchange rates but i feel like that is the most fair way to deal with it.). If you buy a piece while I am gone and I have hit the cap I will just send it back, but i dont think i see this as being a problem unless someone buys a large piece of me.

Also, I made a small mistake. The tourney is 8000+250, not just 8000 euros. So its actaully a little bit more. Anyone who had booked action prior can just have it at the 8000 but all the future bookings need to be at 8250. My bad.

I have some money to burn but looking through your tournament stats i dont see a single final table and EPT main event fields are deifnately not soft

you're kidding right, EPT fields are pretty damn bad.

No I'm not kidding, understanding push/fold spots doesn't make you +ev in an EPT main event field lol

I dont have a ton of stats, and most of my tourney stats are pre me being a solid winning cash player.

My SnG ROI is 13% on WCG|Rider
My Lifetime Tourney ROI is -26% on WCG|Rider

That said tho, my ROI in 180 man fields over like 300 games (I understand thats basically nothing but i have so little online information its wat i have i guess), is almost 300%. My Tourney ROI is obv terrible but so many of thosetourneys were pre me even being a wining player, and I even then have a few decent cashes with some really terrible suckouts (blah blah blah who cares) deep in a few, and with so few tourneys that actaully makes a large difference.

Now I am a winning cash game player at up to 5/10, and have quite a bit of experience with poker. EPT Fields are known for being soft, and they have a decent structure that I feel gives me a solid edge.

I was previously selling at 1.2-1 but now its even money, so basically the only way its -ev is if you actually think my ROI would be negatve in a large, live, mtt, with online qualifiers in a fairly soft field.

I talked with a good friend of mine who plays only stt's and mtt's, and he said he would imagine my ROI in smoethng like this would probably be near 50% longterm, so i suppose i could agree to somewhere near there (although tbh that is probably fairly low).

So that is basically what you are getting. I still hvae only actaully sold and recieved money on 16% of the action, althuogh people have booked much more.

Also, because when people buy, theyget the exchange rate on the day they buy, in order to protect either myself or the buyer from depcreciation or appreciation of the exchange rate, the payout structure is the average of the rate you buy it at and the rate the day i cash. Just to protect in case there is major movement in exchange rates.

I've yet to see any nlhe donkament field that a winning 2/4 player wouldn't be highly +ev in

I was in Barcelona last year in Sept and its a beautiful place, the casino in particular is right on the coast and is probably one of the more upscale places in all of Barca. And if you go busto quick theres a million clubs and bars right around the port where you can go drink and swipe your worries away =)

Hey im new around here in the forum, I just wanted to understand why you are selling shares of your play if you got a package from Pokerstars, meaning everything is paid anyways right?? So this would be for insurance that you would at least make some money given you don't make itm in the event??
