I think its good that I am making suggestions to atleast TRY and help the 2p2 community.

Heres another suggestion for you though, why dont you use the thread I made about improving the Marketplace and extract the 1 useful thing that came out of it. I'm not at all surprised that it hasn't been done already. I'll give you a clue...maybe it would be a good idea to actually outline the risks of selling/buying. One of them was listed by somebody in my Marketplace improval thread.

I'm not even gonna bother saying it here again for you. But I think it would be a great idea to add this to the Marketplace sticky. Instead of just saying "use at your own risk"...and not even bother outlining the risks. Hows that for making the Marketplace a better place?

Don't assume people know the dangers of buying/selling. If you care for the 2p2 community like I do maybe you will add it to the Marketplace sticky.

Why I even bother making these suggestions after I'm being banned after paying back I will never know. Maybe I shouldn't bother giving an extra 200$ on top of what I owe , since I'm getting banned anyway. (That is what LirvA mentioned anyway - apparently the account is just being kept open for communication purposes only) . Maybe I'm doing these things because I have a good soul.

It would be a shame afterall if people who used the Marketplace got scammed , especially if they wouldn't have even used the Marketplace if the actual risks were outlined. I'll be the first to setup a gimmick account and point them to this thread where I warned the mods to add something to the sticky...which might have saved somebody.

im not sure if your reading comprehension is up to it, but ive sent money on both stars and full tilt so far. im unable to send fulltilt recently since something dodgy is up with kowboys4's full tilt account...something to do with bouncing echeques. simply stating what i prefer is not DICTATING anything. lol. something along the lines of "i can only pay FT" would be closer to dictating terms.

I'm not here to defend SilentNoise, that's for sure, but I don't think all of this is really helpful at this point. I think we all know the way most posters feel about SN, and rightly so, but maybe we could dial back the abuse a little if he's still paying back.

Although it would be nice to see it happening faster.

Why do you keep hating on silentnoise when he has alteast been paying back kowboys very slowly? If you hate enough, he might stop paying back altogether...

This could have been taken care of by now. Between that and him trying to scam again I think allowing this whole approach is a mistake on our part, and a learning experience for us mods. In the future I think people here are just going to have to eat their losses and move on. Maybe the other mods will disagree with me, I don't know.

SilentNoise is it too much to ask that you pay a couple bills late this month or go pawn something and get the rest paid? We're closing in on a year and kowboys has been insanely patient with you. It would be great if we could do that and square him away right.

if you notice he antagonizes, whether on purpose or not, but a slight provoking nonetheless....really, him giving 200 on top of what hes taken over a year or whatever to pay back all of a sudden makes him a good person or so he believes? really, he cares about the 2p2 community and is an asset and honest buyer/seller in the marketplace? really, he didnt "mean" to sell the other broken laptop with intentions to scam AGAIN and just saw it laying on the ground? really, he feels the need to say he has other **** to pay for and take care of even though this has been going on for HOW MANY weeks now....?

i could go on for another 3 paragraphs probably but that would defeat what you wanted to get out of your guys' posts i think....i dont think bashing him does any good, but praising him or letting him think hes a good person is pointless, get kowboys the money, ban this fool, and move on. Just to update. I'm still owed $271 after the last installment by SilentNoise. I haven't heard from him since then. I let him know where he could send the money on FTP.

This guy is wayyyyyy tooo nice to me. Very very pleasant. Sent me money even though I think I said I was cool without it like 3 - 4 times between aim,skype. Will always have my gratitude and my reference.

Edit - All this and pretty obvious he was the victim of him staking silentnoise (just from risk) not me.

I'm not here to judge, as there are plenty of others here to do that already, and rightfully so, but I want you to ask yourself a question.

Is that really the best you can do? And I don't mean the most you can afford so you can still go on living your life like normal. Paying this back should be causing you some hardship, it shouldn't just be done at your convenience. Give this some serious thought, because I find it pretty hard to believe that almost anyone couldn't pay more than $10/month back to someone they had wronged; I bet you can find a way to do this quicker. I'm not expecting an answer, just for you to think about it long and hard and see if you can do better.

And yes, I see that you said you will probably do more than that. I hope you will.
