Hey there.. Just got a house in vegas and will be looking to rent out some rooms starting now. The house is 5 bedrooms/3bathrooms. I just moved in a few months ago and a lot of work has been done and its just about ready to go. All thats left is fixing up the pool and the landscaping and both of those will be taken care of in the next week or so.

Pricing will be $850/mo (includes utilities) before the WSOP and $1k/mo (includes utilites) during the WSOP. For now I'm just going to book through the WSOP but leaving the option open if some people are interested in staying more long term after the series. There will be a cleaning lady, landscaper, and pool guy coming on regular basis so that will be split among everyone (Not sure what it'll come to yet but divided by 5 it shouldnt be more than $50 or so ea)

In the garage there is a little room which will be used as the gym. Currently theres a bench in there and I will probably try to get a little treadmill in there as well. The backyard is awesome, it includes a pool with 2 waterfalls, hot tub, wet bar, outside TV hookup, gazebo with gas fire pit etc. There is also a poker table in one of the rooms (dont have pics of that yet). All of the furniture is brand new, i bought a water softener for the house, new toilets, 55'' TV, PS3, new carpets, surround sound etc etc.


A little info about myself: My name is Aaron...I am 24, play poker for a living (primarily MTTs) live and online (Aguskb). I do like to go out but probably only do it once or twice a week. Ideally the roomates would be around the same age, down to go out once in a while, not insane, serious about poker, and not going to trash my house. I am currently in Europe playing some EPTs and stuff, I will be back sometime in May most likely.. but you can still move in ASAP, someone is at my house and will handle everything until I am back.

IMO, whats going on here is pretty clearly a commercial real-estate undertaking.

I was assuming the post in WTB was advertising the same # of rooms available at the same time is the same place. iirc, that post had prices which were the same as well, but they dont seem to be there anymore so maybe im mistaken.

its pretty clear from jakes post history that hes in the business of i guess renting out homes or buying them and renting rooms to poker players.. to the extent that he even posted in WTB looking for employees...

So its clearly a commercial undertaking -- its just unclear whether your house is a part of the undertaking. From the content of the orig post advertising it, and from the fact that it looks like one of the rooms was being offered gratis in return for being jakes PA, im personally disinclined to believe that its the case.

Just posting to vouch for Aaron and the house, I stayed for almost a month and the pad is huge and the backyard is ridiculous, can't imagine how sick it'll be when it's all going. The fold a hoop game is pretty much the nuts and now that I'm back home I miss it

I lived with Aaron for a few months before he decided to ship an ept and ball out of control. Have nothing but good things to say about him and our past living situation. Good guy, good player, sick house. Def reccomend looking into this if youre coming to town for wsop.

okay new update...

two people moving in at the end of this month...im assuming those rooms will be booked throughout july

another room is booked for june/july

so that means i have one room available from now until may 31st
and another that is available from now until july 31st

also decided that if you want to come in june, you should be able to commit to july as well because its too easy for me to fill rooms during that time bc of WSOP and itll make life a lot easier for me..... but before that, month to month is perfectly fine

Little update, some guys are moving in this week, just about all of the deposits are received...the rooms listed above are still available on those dates

The pool has been completely cleaned/new system put in, the works pretty much
Landscaping is being done this week
and cleaning service has started as of today

where is the house located?

silverado ranch area, south of strip...right by southpoint casino

I used to live in that area, very nice and quiet down there. Low crime rate and I know pretty much exactly where this house is located. You won't be disappointed. Silverado has an entrance ramp for I15 and it connects to south Las Vegas blvd.

Okay so one thing has changed

a room is now open from now through the summer... so if someone wants to move in asap and plans to stay throughout WSOP then let me know and well get that going

or if you just wanted to book that room for the summer, thats fine too but id recommend locking it up asap

the other two rooms are available now: one through april 31st and the other any month but June

also there currently is a cat in the house and it will be there until i arrive from europe. it is owned by the person watching my house, it pretty much stays in his room for the most part.. but it wont be there for the summer. forgot to mention that earlier

the landscapers come 2x a month @ 100/mo, cleaning is weekly 200/mo, and pool is weekly 115/mo...so itll be about an extra 100 per person...if at any point the house isnt full i will be covering the rest so your share will never exceed 100
