Card Core and I are looking to rent a grindhouse for this year's SCOOP (7. - 22.05.) preferably in Costa Rica (but would be open to other suggestions).

AirBnB offers a lot of nice houses and is imo the easiest and safest way to book a place.

We are looking for 4-6 more persons who wanna join our adventure. Usually the more people we are the cheaper it is and the more fun it will be.

We are both 27 and 28yo german grinders who would consider themselves fairly open-minded, outgoing and relaxed. You should be like-minded and preferably not too nerdy, we want to take the grind seriously but enjoy ourselves outside of it. You must also be reputable, speak english fluently and preferably grind the full SCOOP schedule yourself.

Oh and neither of us has ever been in Costa Rica so we're open to any suggestions/help even if you can't join us. Ty.

Suggestions.

1. Hire a maid that will cook/clean/laundry, its fairly inexpensive and will make life infinitely easier. When we were down there I think we grabbed one off craigslist and she was adequate. Although I think 1 night I left like a couple hundred in my pocket in my jeans and pretty sure it was gone after laundry day :|

2. Trust no one. Do not give someone money to do something ahead of time , ever. Everyone is on their hustle and grind.

3. Don't bring large sums of cash. Although you will need to bring a decent amount as a lot of places don't take plastic. When you go for a night out or what ever put your laptops away, even if its under the bed or w/e. We went out one night, had a lot of drinks, some people came back to our place and a laptop was missing in the morning...

4. Don't plan on driving, the roads suck , people suck at driving and the car company will screw you on insurance. Take taxi's, they're not expensive. Negotiate the price before getting in the cab.

5. Drink the coffee, its generally really good and try and visit a plantation or go to some national parks. One of my favourite things we did was Bioluminescent kayaking at night(look it up , its ***** cool). It really is a beautiful, tropical country so enjoy that stuff. Don't just grind 24/7 :P
