I have a 4BR 3BA house in South Lake Tahoe, Ca.


I am looking for winning poker players who would be interested in moving in, grinding and discussing hands and such in our free time.


There are several casinos in town, one of which holds WSOP Circuit events. These are within walking distance.


I am also a short drive or bus trip away from Reno, NV which has many more casinos. And of course, Vegas isn't that far away.



I am of course very close the the lake itself, which is awesome in the summer. In the winter (and spring and fall) there are countless mountains with ski resorts near by (Heavenly!).


There are plenty of bars within stumbling distance and lots of hot tourists all year round.



A little about myself:

I am 27 years old. I went to school for math and computer science. I mostly play 100NL HU, but I am also a winning MTT player.


I moved out to Cali from NY/Boston in order to have some fun in the sun and grind someplace where there is fresh air.

I am single, and currently living alone.

I mostly just play poker, watch sports and eat red meat.


There is a rec center in town where I like to go and play pick-up games of basketball. I was a collegiate soccer player, and still enjoy going to the aforementioned rec center to play indoor as well.

I also ski/snowboard.




About the house:

4 Bedrooms. I have the bigger of the two master bedrooms. Which is the entire upstairs.

Downstairs there is another master bedroom with it's own master bath. The bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi tub and large closet.

There is a sliding glass door in this room which let's you go out into the back yard. The room gets lots of sun.

As of right now, I have converted the second master bedroom into my grinding room. But I can put the bed and dressers back in if someone would like to rent it as a bedroom.


There are also 2 "guest" rooms which have full beds and dressers and large closets.


(All closets are about 6 feet wide with floor to ceiling mirrored sliding doors)


All rooms come furnished.


The 2 guest rooms share their own full bath which is right across the hallway.


The house has it's own laundry room with washer and drier.


There is a large 2 car garage with enough total parking space for about 6 cars.



There is a living room and a "great" room. Both of which have gas fireplaces. (Yes, two fireplaces)


The kitchen is all hardwood floored with modern and matching fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher. Double sink with garbage disposal.


There is a bar/island with stools as part of the kitchen; separating it from the living room.


The living room currently has a 46" HDTV.

Large fenced in backyard for dogs, horse shoes and BBQs.



The house is well within walking distance of everything you could possibly need; including grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores, bars, miniature golf, movie theatres..... you name it.



The avg temp in the winter is about 41 degrees (F). In the summer is is usually around 80.


We are at about 6,000 ft, so the summers are dry, but not too dry. The heat is very comfortable usually. The winters get snowy, but the days are fairly warm. People often snowboard in T-shirts in the spring and fall.




The price depends on which room you would like, and whether or not you have pets. (Deposit required for pets)



I will be requiring first, last and security deposit to move in. Month to month is fine.

I would just like to reiterate that I am looking for winning poker players.


If you cannot confirm that you are a winning player, and especially if you have no proof of income, please do not waste my time.


"But I do much better live" is not going to cut it.


Also, if you only have 10 posts on 2+2, I am going to be a bit skeptical unless there is someone reputable on this site that can confirm your usernames are who you say you are, and they can vouch for your reputation and skills.

I talked to 4g24bm on skype just now and was rejected outright. This was due to me only have 10 posts on 2+2 and having unverifiable live results. While I totally agree that its his right to choose the housemates on whatever basis he decides im a bit disappointed that he shut me down before even asking me much else. I guess if I had grinded 50k online and posted all my random thoughts on 2+2 over the last year I would be a better candidate. Instead I chose to make 150k at my job, make 50k live, loose 1.5k online, and to be a private individual. Anyway, no hard feelings, its his house and his choice, just figured it was a good time to get my posts up to 11.

I needed no more information than this:




Since I am looking to put together a house full of (primarily) online grinders, this excludes you.



So being "semi-retired" and not having positive online results, I can't really agree to have you move in.


No matter how good you claim you are live.




Especially considering that I have had interest from several other members that have a history and positive reputation here on 2+2, to go along with tens of thousands of dollars in online profit.



Furthermore, everyone else is in their early to mid 20s. Being 34, while not a deal breaker on it's own, doesn't really make you a good fit.

So, I apologize if I hurt your feelings by cutting our conversation short. But as you can see, I had enough information to make my decision.

As of right now I took the bed out of the second master bedroom and put it in the other guest room, and turned that master into my grind room. So that is why I didn't bother taking pictures of those.
