I know a little about this as I had to take a primer course for the knife demos I used to do at shows. From what I have heard that the Japanese Whetstones are great for overall quality of the sharpening. They tend to be softer so they deteriorate quicker and have uneven lines in them sooner than other stones. But for a beginner sharpener they are good to learn with as they tend to be very forgiving and and they don't need a lubricant besides water. If I didn't send you a sharpening stone with your last order I will send you out one next time around. I have about three or four left and I will add those for free to the next orders while supplies last.

I'm not positive about #7 but I definitely have duplicates of 15 and 17 and I have several styles that are very similar or better than #26. Let me know and make an offer and I will ship them out as soon as funds are shipped.
