Dual Internet connection has been up for about 3 weeks. I'm not actually sure about how each poker client would respond...I know that when in the command prompt I type 'ping google.com -t' and then DC one line it times out for about 5 times max then re-routes all traffic and never times out again.

Until you decide to give 30 days notice. Though I do think Quinn may be leaving Bangkok is Feb 2010, so I guess that'd be the longest. Not sure if that is definite yet.

1. Yes we have a lease that ends the end of Feb 2010. I have yet to decide if I'm going to stay and continue the house or end the lease. Another option would be if there is enough interest someone else could take over renting out the rooms.

2. You can apply for a visa at the Thai consulate (NYC, DC, LA) if you are a US Citizen. This gets you I think a 60 day visa (or maybe 90). Or you US Citizens can show up at the airport and simply get a visa on arrival which is good for 30 days, then you just have to do a visa run vacation.

3. I think it was the 2p2ers in Phuket who said in an interview that "bringing a gf to Thailand is like bringing sand to the beach." IMO there is always room for more sand at the beach, that's fine. Earlier like 4 guys wanted to share one room... that might not be so cool. PM me we can talk about it, but basically I'm OK w/ GFs.

Not that I know of other than 2p2 home games and maybe occasionally my Thai friends will play but for tiny stakes... I'm sure they exist though.

Okay, there has been a lot of interest for dates in the future that I can't yet accept deposits for. I've been trying to give the first people who inquired about dates preference when a room does become available around when they requested.

So, if you are seriously interested in a date beyond July 1, please PM me saying that you are almost certain you'd like a certain date (or range of dates). When a room opens I'll then go to my list and offer the space to whoever PMd first. They basically will get first dibs on putting down the deposit.

Still one room open now and another July 1. Save 10k and skip the main event for Thailand IMO.

The House looks great. If you're still looking for somebody on october (which I doubt seriously), I could be interested.

Pool Party


We are having a pool party here on Friday, June 26, at 5:00pm. Everyone is invited to come see the place, meet, chill, and party with other 2p2ers and Thais. We will provide food (burgers?) and some booze but please try and bring as much alcohol as you are going to drink so the party doesn't go busto. Also bring a swimsuit!!

The party will also be for two members of the house leaving July 1 and my Thai girlfriend leaving the next day for Hong Kong.

If interested, later in the night we'll likely relocate to tables at a club somewhere still TBD.
