just had a revelation tho: there could be a number wrong in every line of the spreadsheet and the consequence is pretty moot. If 3 or 4 numbers match the winning combo best believe that ticket will then be doublechecked and if its actually a jackpot, 250k, or 10k winner it wont accidentally elude us that we won. The worst case scenario if theres a number or even 2 numbers wrong in every line of the sheet is we miss a few $10 and less winners (mostly $1-3) and that has almost zero impact on the amount OPs will be shipping back to us on stars.

What is prudent is for the pics of the tickets to be safe from removal (nothing against OPs this is just an obvious precaution for this type of pool) ie you wouldnt want the only pics be linked to 2+2 thru photobucket and thus if an OP in one of these ever binked and wanted to scam the whole pot they remove pic from their photobucket and evidence is toast.

emailed u the jpeg files, u should be able to zoom in.

also, i will be running all these through the scanner as a precautionairy measure.

as an example of how meaningless random errors in the spreadsheet are:

IF line 53E is ACTUALLY a 56 instead of the 55 listed in the spreadsheet (i cant tell from the scan personally) we would have another 3+0 category win ($7) for a total return of $26. even if I got the whole $7 difference it wouldnt be worth the time it'd take to error check half the sheet. (obv brag)

a 3+0 win being missed is the only legitimate threat of spreadsheet errors. (because you will think its a 2+0 which is worthless.)

Any other missed prize will merely be underestimated.
If we jackpot but game line has an error we will think we binked 250k or 10k.
then get the most amazing slowroll ever when it turns out we actually
binked MEGAS
If we match 4 but think we only matched 3, or matched x+1 and think we only have a 0+1 winner, the scanner will catch it when we redeem and pay correctly.

and to miss the 3+0 it has to appear as a 2+0 AND be on a ticket with no other winners.

Its really hard to figure out exact ev here, but its got to be really close to marginally being +ev even after taxes. If it is not hit tonight it will almost certainly be.

in the pool at work, and the $100 5man pool 4 friends and I have for this, after scanning all tickets are placed in an envelope in a safe. (I have 100 in my home safe atm) If one of those 100 binks the 10k thats great but kind of meh, we will probably wait til Friday, Ill go to columbia (lottery office) claim it, come back and split 5 ways.

If it binks 250k or the jackpot I'll open safe to confirm, relock in safe. Confer with the other members and suggest we all leave 2.5 hours before the lottery office opens (1.75 hour drive and there will be a throng of people there once its announced the winner was in SC) and bring all documentation, ID, laptops and cell phones for any bank transactions needed, etc.

The problem with winning huge is you cant just deposit 230M in one account...and if you have to for even a minute you better do it in Bank of America or Wells Fargo. Its only insured to 200k (i think thats current).

FWIW despite popular belief in lump sum the best move for an individual winner is always the annuity because of
a) the problems you will run into just trying to park 230M all at once
b) the problems you will run into when you start trying to allocate 230M across an investment portfolio WHILE protecting yourself and your $$ from scams/cheats/etc
c) the unlikelihood of actually achieving the return the annuity guarantees by successfully navigating b (you'd basically have to be pretty sure you can earn 150M in investment profit with about a 150M bankroll(after taxes) over the next 20 years.) And remember any money you EARN with your lumpsum bankroll will be subject to capital gains tax.

c is unlikely for most trials AND involves the added headache of constantly watching out you dont get fcked for all the loot.

The annuity means you sit back and collect about 6M a year after taxes and if someone cons you out of it, you use it all in one month (hookers and blow obv) or whatever its just like "meh, I get another 6M next january".

I actually disagree with the annuity vs. lump sum. The lump sum, if properly managed (you're not the only person in the world with 230mm), Would net you much more than 330mm in 20 yrs. Either way there are scams.. GL

all you need to earn annually to double your money in 20 years is about 4%. with that kind of money spreading it around very diverse with investments in hedge funds, gold, real estate, ect.. no way you would not be able to average that type of return.

id take the lump sum if it was 1/4 of the jackpot value.
