I am a MTT player living in michigan right now. 23 years old. Itching to get back on the daily mtt grind on stars. Looking to move to windsor in the next few weeks. An apartment or rental house will be ideal. I will be commuting back and fourth once a week from michigan to windsor. Looking to spend between 300-700 on rent/utilities. I dont have a bank account or utility bills set up yet. If you have a room available, please let me know!!

Not sure If this is going to work for proof of residency, but I found a place similar to an extended stay hotel. Fully furnished etc.. only $425 a month. After talking with the owner on phone, It sounds like Ill be able to recieve mail there, and Im going to get a magic jack to use as a landline. Im heading to windsor next week to get a bank account/move in etc.

Ive heard some people saying that stars made them send in a copy of the lease, so Ill probably just have to talk the owner into making some type of lease form. You can stay daily, weekly or monthly here, which is perfect for me as I will be frequently going home to michigan.

Just got off the phone with them, the summer rate for a private 1 bedroom is $399. You can upgrade to the executive sweet which has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen with fridge and microwave..all for $699

Update this thread when they make a decision.

I could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure most people that live here are college students and its similar to dorm living.

I'm thinking about heading up to Windsor late this year or beginning of Jan. Very interested to see if this place gets approved.

I've been there before, as I said it's in an awful location and it gets pretty loud. If you're just looking for a place to crash, it's not that big of a problem. Think it of something a bit better than Imperial Palace in terms of quality, but worse in terms of noise, location, crime, etc.

Have yet to make the trip, ended up binking on merge and just decided to move to vegas to get an early start at building for the wsop. I plan on checking windsor out as soon as the series is done

i was kind of trolling, and well im pretty biased given thats where i live/go to school, but in general the nightlife is much better (mcmaster) and youre ~40min from toronto

besides being close to the border windsor isnt too bumpin

haha nah maybe in like the super downtown areas. anywhere near mcmaster is pretty nice actually, and the bar scene is pretty awesome here
