Anyone thinking of living in Austin:

Moving in mid-Augustish. Looking for a couple roommates for a 6k sq ft place, newer (built in 2005) in Downtown Austin. $5-7 cab ride to central 6th. Good convenient location right on MoPac (main highway), food close, gyms, etc. Will have a PA. The house is listed as a 5BR/5BA, but really its like 7-8BR with some odd rooms around, plus there's a full basement with a full kitchen/bar. On the 3rd story there's 2 full-size beds that are in the wall that pull out for guests, underneath a huge chalk board/bookstands thing. On the same floor there's a big ladder to go up to a loft (not included in the square footage), which is pretty cool. Amazing house for entertaining, having friends visit, etc.

With 5 people it'd be like 1.2k/mo avg w utils, with 4 it'd be like 1.5k/mo. Theres 3 of us so far, me (24) Mkovner (25), and d2themfi (23). Go out prob 2.5 times/wk. So, looking for 1 more to sign a lease.. (of 12 months).
