I'd Like to Move a Car Cross-Country for Someone I'd Like to Move a Car Cross-Country for Someone

My friend and I would like to take a road trip cross-country in like late July, but neither of us has a car. So I was hoping I could find someone who wanted their car moved cross-country around that time.

We're really flexible about all the details. We'll leave from New York, Providence, Boston, or anywhere around there, and we're willing to end up in Vegas, San Francisco, LA, Santa Barbara, San Diego... basically anywhere in California or Nevada.

Also flexible with the dates. We'd like to leave after July 20th and before August 1st if possible. We're thinking it would take us somewhere in the range of 10 days to see what we want to see and get cross country, but not really sure and flexible on that as well.

Anyway, if anyone is interested in doing this, lemme know.

Ahhh, I wish you were doing this next year. I live in New York currently and I will be going to college in California. I want to bring my car there, but I don't know if I can last the drive there.

Noah, have you tried "driveaway" websites. I don't know much about them except I believe they allow people off the streets to drive other people's cars after filling out an application and being approved.

here's one http://www.driveawayusa.com/

Yeah.. those places require you to be 23 for some reason. I'm 21 and my friend is 22.

A buddy of mine lives down in the US and got someone to drive his car like that... drunk driver collided with them.. complete fluke but still an accident

Obviously if I can find someone I'd need to talk about insurance and what-if scenarios. I imagine we'd get added to whatever insurance is on the car for week or two we spend driving.

I dunno.. what'd you have in mind? I'd prefer to drive the whole way because my friend has stuff in boston he'd like to get to palo alto, but we're very flexible.

well, right now i'm in denver. there is a chance (25-75%, depending on a lot at of different things) that I'm moving to SF in late July. In which case I'd need to take a Uhaul worth of stuff, as well as my car worth of stuff, and I'd need help (I take uhaul, I suppose, you guys take car ?). It's not close to finalized/official, but figured I'd toss it out anyway and see if it would even cross your mind, if it ends up happening.
