We own and operate a successful poker news website.

We're looking to hire 2-3 writers who are knowledgable and passionate about poker and the poker industry to write on a freelance basis.

We like to really showcase writing staff and your writer profile will be clearly visible from the site.

Payment: $0.035 per word (Or $35 per 1000 words) - Typically we pay writers anywhere from $250-600 monthly.

Topics of writing will include:

- Poker Market Analysis (Must be capable of writing your own opinions and drawing intelligent conclusions)
- Poker Business
- Poker Rooms & Networks (New features, Announcements, News)
- Poker Pros and Tournaments: Interesting features on poker players and tournaments.
- Entertainment: Miscellaneous fun articles.
- Law and Legislation - Developments regarding new poker legislation by country, with particular emphasis on the U.S.


What else?

Writers must be able to identify stories where we can become the 'authority' on. We want exclusive stories and original pieces.

Writers should also be readily available via Skype and E-mail in order to pick up article suggestions. Time of article release is very important.

FYI for those that apply for this. I wrote a blog for them in May with 4 entries. I never received payment for any of them and they have since stopped communicating with me VIA email or Skype. Felt like they were a legit business and Stewart was a nice guy but never got paid which is upsetting.

I would interested, but please explain situation w/ DrawMeOut first... I have proven worth as I have written for other poker websites in the past.
