I have a Mac Powerbook G4 in my possession that a friend gave to me. He left the password on there and I had no way of contacting him, so I found instructions on the Internet on how to get my own account on there with a password of my choosing. I don't know much about Macs, obviously.

Anyway, this machine is in pretty good shape - 15" with no dead pixels (beautiful screen, I must say), 10 GB HD, 512 MB RAM, DVD SuperDrive, and MAC OSX 10.4.11. It also has WiFi/Airport, Bluetooth, 56k modem, standard Ethernet jack, Firewire, USB, DVI and S-Video. (Oh, what you can learn from System Information)

It has only a 10 GB hard drive. It's weird, because the stamp by the serial number says 80 GB, but apparently this hard drive was swapped out for one slightly under 10 GB. Also, the battery life isn't great (probably about an hour on a full charge - Mac OSX says 48-50 minutes on Normal).

After getting into OSX with my administrator account, I installed the three software updates I was prompted for. It comes with iTunes, Safari, and all that other good stuff that you Apple people love pre-installed.

I don't have any manuals or disks for the machine, but I did go to the Apple store and pick up a brand new Apple-brand (not third-party) AC adapter, which cost me like $80. The unit has standard wear, but no major scratches on the aluminum casing. Picture provided is from my camera phone, which isn't the greatest quality, sorry.
