Have you checked amazon/ebay for a 32gb white ipad with wifi used but near perfectly new condition?
I think you will be surprised at bids you can get but obviously they charge fee so I rather sell here.

Don't know how £ convert, but I picked up same refurbed (actually new, from apple, they don't want to dilute market) for $350, shipping included..
Amazon prices are overinflated by marketplace sellers, and Amazon itself overcharges for iPadR, since it conflicts with Kindle. Just an FYI, also got the black version.
