I guess I wasn't the only one that had the idea to go there since the line stretched out the door, around the building, an back in to the parking lot! There must have been 600-800 people in front of me.

what?!?! That is insane. I'm assuming this is the closest place to state lines to buy tickets?

Fair point, but buying shares in this is probably +EV when you consider the entertainment value. It's a fun sweat.

Yes Primm is the closest place to buy the tickets.
Ive bought 10's of thousands in lotto tixs in my life, where im from (NY) you have to choose at time of purchase if you want lump sum or annuity payments.

On another note the news just had a live shot of the line in Primm to buy tickets, it was estimated at over 1500 people! The line wrapped around the building, around the parking lot, and up the sidewalk, those people are gonna be in line for hours! So glad I went yesterday and got them when the line was only 1-1 1/2 hours.
I'm goin to Borders so I can email you guys the ticket pics.

And this is why I don't mind paying him $2...If I stood in line for 1.5 hours to buy a lotto ticket, I'd be standing outside the store holding people up at gunpoint for their tickets.

I shoulda bought $1000 worth of tickets, I coulda tripled that **** in a half hour selling them to the people freezing at the end of the line including my moron friend that just got there.

i just wanted to point out that it took me about 5 seconds to get $1 worth in this derby just now..people waiting in line (especially if you could make believe it was hundreds of people deep) are LOL.

two 24oz beers cost me $4, i tossed the guy my leftovers and the entire trip from home to store to home took 5 minutes..

My friend went to Primm, saw the huuuuuuuuuuuge line and I directed him to go farther up the 15. He got off in Cima (sp) 20 miles deeper in to Cali, found a lotto place and they only had about 20 people in line.
