Thats a good point, I guess if no one is in line it doesn't really make a difference.Although I know I'd still feel kinda strange buying that many tickets at once. I remember I dropped $100 a few months back when the mega got up to 200M, a few people looked at me like I was nuts while they were waiting to buy $2-$5 worth of tix. I guess I shouldn't care what people think when it comes to that, its my money after all.

In theory, if you bought all 175M combinations of the Mega Million, you will win the jackpot. However, it could be -EV if someone else wins.
I've always wondered about that. And I guess that brings me back to my original question, how in the hell do they go about buying up that many tickets? Is there a seperate outlet for "high rollers" where you can buy lottery tickets in bulk like that? And how in the hell do they sort through all the tickets to find out if they won or not? You said they bought $4M in tickets, lets say they can somehow manage to print $100 worth of numbers on each ticket, thats still 40,000 individual tickets! Or maybe its all stored in some database? Crazy!

So, I see 2p2's point in all of this. I probably wouldn't want mass flooding of these type of threads in the marketplace. I also know why they want King in commercial marketplace (I had to deal with the same thing a while ago, kinda)

I'm just going to assume I'm going to get a PM with pictures of some #'s though.

I don't think this thread warrants too much more bickering.

cball86; i dont want a refund, just post the numbers here on this thread; or if its not much trouble scan/take pics of them, and email/PM them or smth.

However, if you decide this is 2 much trouble, you can reship the $11. We can also communicate privately (all of us) through skype or whatever.

Let me know what you decide to do, but looking as to this thread is still open and OP in this thread is going through with it, I'd recommend keep going.

Again, I'm still a go and don't expect anyone else to request a refund.

Since this thread is still open I assume mods are fine with it. Also taking into consideration that you are NOT SELLING the tickets, but simply made available shares of YOUR TICKETS, there are should be no legal consequences for 2+2, yet for any of us.

There are other options to display numbers outside of 2+2. You can take pics and post them on your personal (private) imageshack.us/photobucket.com account, then send all involved parties the link to the album.

I have put money into both. What will go on with these? FWIW I think it would be very difficult to scam since numbers will be posted here, winners will be announced and this thread will have a record of the numbers and who invested. Not a big deal but seemed like a fun thing to do.

as of this moment I'm just waiting on direction from 2+2 as to what they want me to do... Not a single one of my posts or pm's to mods have been answered by anyone from 2+2. im not trying to be an ass about anything I would just like any kind of black and white ruling so I can proceede accordingly. one of these things needs to happen.

1. 2+2 decides this is not something they want on their website. my thread gets reopened so i can explain that this decision was made by 2+2 and i will issue refunds.

2. 2+2 says its ok, my thread reopends and everything continues as normal

3. 2+2 says its not ok but since u already have a pool going and this was not againt the forum rules at the time you created it this time its ok but no more in the future. my thread is reopened with or without the allowance to add more people to the pool. (i have a dozen or so people that wanted in before thread was locked)

4. they continue to ignor me and leave the thread locked leaving me really unsure of what i should do. I dont have a thread to post ticket numbers or results in. The last thing I want to have happen is to go buy tickets and then have people upset because 2+2 said it was not ok and demend a refund afterwards or something.

This would be the most appropriate action taken by 2+2. These posts have been live for over 24hours, if not longer, and at this point should just be left open for this one time.

You can, as I mentioned, take pictures of the tickets and post them privately on photobucket. (ez pz)
Also, you can send a Mass PM to everyone involved; this will require the same amount of 'typing' as it would posting it in your original post; the winning numbers. (All you have to do is separate the users by commas when writing the PM).

At this point I'd go ahead and buy the tickets since its getting close to draw date. Essentially the uncertain 'voice' of mods & this thread still being open should give you the benefit of doubt to proceed and be within 2+2 guidelines.

Again, seeing that this thread is still open and not closed, it would be unfair to anyone involved in this to NOT go ahead.

Guys I'm heading out to buy the tickets in a few mins, just gotta meet a fellow 2+2er at the Mirage and check him in. You guys that bought a share, PM me and i will send you the scans of our tixs by email and I will also post them in this thread tomorrow before the drawing. Everyone that bought a share will know what our numbers are and the serial numbers printed on the tickets.

I never imagined this would cause such a huge stir, hundreds of people sell shares of themselves every week on 2+2.

Let's hit this bitch I could really use 10% of 330 million!

Gosh guys, sorry I've been so unprofessional about this and not dedicated more time during my holiday to get you exactly the answers you wanted as soon as you wanted them - I mean, it's been almost 20 hours since I closed that other thread, amirite?

Of course it was only about 6 hours until I gave a decision, and then I clarified this morning since I wasn't clear enough last night.

Not sure how you were all hoping this would be handled. Thread was closed as soon as it was pointed out to me, and shortly thereafter I explained why. What more were you all looking for?

I have no idea why people keep asking this. OP has sold out what he was going to sell; now it's open for discussion and for OP to post the tickets.

You sent me one PM, and since there's been so much discussion ITT, I've been posting here and covered the question you asked me.

I believe we went with the first part of option 1 last night and I made this more clear about 5 hours ago. The only confusion I can see is what you should do with existing sales, which I believe should be your decision. This thread isn't selling any more, so I don't see the harm in letting you post the tickets right here.

alright so I am allowed to continue with existing sales but not accept anymore correct?

The harm in posting tickets here is that it is unorganized and not all people who bought know that discussion is going on in this thread. If you could please reopen my thread I will post that I am sold out and no more sales will be accepted.

Also think it's pretty sad forcing KingBBinLv to Commercial Marketplace for turning some comps to cash. It's not his primary business. He's not a commercial enterprise. It's actually a service many 2+2ers want and appreciate. Compared to the other crap 'pay me to do anything' or 'random crap garage sale' threads - they are some of the most useful in the forum for random 2+2ers imo.
Nice shot at ClayDol. Lots of people love that thread. Pretty much a terribad idea to call out a thread like that. It definitely isn't "crap"; people have used the thread for serious/time intensive work.

Got the tickets baby! On an iPhone right now, will be PM'ing you guys the pics tomorrow.

I got to the Lotto store at Primm around 4:30 pm, I guess I wasn't the only one that had the idea to go there since the line stretched out the door, around the building, an back in to the parking lot! There must have been 600-800 people in front of me. I started talking to the people in line with me, old man behind me got a DUI in 08, he said he blew .29! Old lady in front of me was chain smoking and I think at one point she caughed a lung on to the sidewalk, she had no jacket on so I wrapped mine around her, guess I'll be throwing that Guess black coat out! Ahhh **** the coat, after we ship this I'll by everyone in Vegas a coat lolz.

Finally we made it in to the building, more waiting! I bought some scratchers while I waited, so long $15!

Got to the counter, there were about 5 machines going and they had self service machines against the wall that people were using. The store manager helped me, if I would have to guess I would say she probably smokes an eighth of meth a day, I have never seen a scarier smile in my life! Her teeth were stumps, so gross! I ordered up all the tickets and asked for the lump sum, she said when you win and cash your ticket in, that's when you choose how to receive your payments.

As I walked out of the door, I made some loud comments to the people still waiting about how I could not believe that they ran out of ink and lotto paper! I heard a few people start to ask questions, and gasping, I kept walking, no need for them to get tickets anyway, i got the winning one, I can feel it! Congrats in advance fellow future millionaires!

I'll have the tick
