I'm gonna sell $90 worth of these and keep $10 for myself. We will all have a 10% share of whatever we hit on the $100 worth of tickets and i'm selling 9 shares at $12 each. If we hit anything taxable, we will all share the tax responsibility. If we hit anything small i'll just ship it back on Stars.

I don't think the mark up is that bad for people that don't have a way to get in to the drawing. It's $2 extra for $10 worth of shares in the pool. I sold powerball tickets on Wall street in 1999, $5 of tickets for $15. I ran out of the $400 worth of tickets that I had in 2 hours.

I like to gamble on the lottery myself when it gets that big. It just seems like you could just buy 10 tickets to get the same EV. Perhaps I'm biased being in California. Don't mean to derail though, free bump

No, I will be buying $100 worth of tickets. Whoever buys a share has a piece of every ticket. It's a pool. If any of the tickets win's any amount, everyone get's 10% of the win. If 1 of the tickets hit's all 5 numbers and the Mega number it's worth $290 million and everyone that had a 10% share gets 29 million.

Is it really that hard to comprehend?

I think what king doing here is great. 20% MU is very reasonable. don't get what you guys are all complaining about.
