Hi everyone, my name is Jody Rummel. I am a pretty active member in the 2+2 staking marketplace and I play live as often as my schedule permits. I have an extensive fitness and nutritional background (used to do it for a living) and I have been approached by some friends who really want to enhance their game through improving their overall physical and mental well being. I believe this is an aspect of the game that is completely overlooked and not leveraged as it should be. Being in top physical, mental and emotional condition presents such a distinct advantage in MTTs where 8-12 hour days, followed by a number of other 8-12 hour days are the norm.
I am going to design a full program for my friends which will include the following:
* Complete exercise/fitness regimen (tailored to the individual)
* Complete Nutritional/Supplementation program (tailored to the individual)
* Lifestyle options/recommendations to make the most of the programs
When I thought about doing this, I thought that many players could really benefit from this type of routine, so I decided to offer this service at very affordable prices. These programs will be built with poker success in mind and they will be built to work cohesively with a grueling MTT poker schedule. The programs will also include local venue options (wherever the series is taking place) for meals that fit the program vs. a quick hot dog or slab of pizza
I can tell you from personal experience that being in top physical condition puts you at a serious advantage over your competitors as the hours pass. Your physical well being is directly linked to your mental well being and not taking that part of the game seriously is a disservice to you and your poker potential.
