This thread is a long shot but whatever. I'm looking for a car within a 50 or maybe 75 max mile radius of OKC/Edmond/Guthrie. 100 miles is definitely a stretch but it's possibly doable if it looks like it's a good deal on a good car.

Options are open a bit I suppose, but it has to be in good condition with a clean title and less than like 130k miles. Either original or on rebuilt engine and tranny, and if rebuilt I'd need to see receipts as proof that it has been rebuilt. Also, I'm looking to pay around blue book value. I'm not looking to pay thousands more than what the car is worth.

I'm looking for something with an 8 cylinder engine and an overdrive transmission. A 4th generation Camaro is mainly what I'm looking for, a 98-02 with an LS1 in particular, and a manual transmission is greatly preferred.

I would be interested in an older car that has had an LS1 swapped into it, that's pretty popular these days with classic Chevrolets like Chevelle's and Nova's.

I'm not interested in a 6 cylinder, convertible, or a project car. Will not buy a car without looking at it and test driving it. Not really looking for a real built up hot rod type of car or something that's been driven really hard or raced, just looking for a good square deal on a good reliable daily driver type car.

As said, this thread is probably a long shot but I'm not having a whole lot of luck with craigslist and autotrader, and all these crappy 39th street dealers are a joke. I'm looking to buy from a private seller. Also, I run a carfax check on every car I look at so I would want the VIN number. Pictures would also be great.
