This barely worn ring is being sold because the relationship didn't work out. It's the same ring as this one on Tiffany.com: http://www.tiffany.com/Engagement/It...upSKU=GRP10043

I think it's a size 5 ring but I'm not sure. I can take a photo of it on a ruler if that would help. I will get authentication paperwork from a local Tiffany & Co store upon request.

Asking $2500 for it. Retail is $4500. Willing to ship first to very reliable posters, otherwise we'll need an escrow. Prefer Stars but can work it out if you can only do FullTilt. Thanks.

I just went to the Tiffany store and they said I can't get a receipt because I wasn't the original purchaser and that they do not do authentication. They did tell me that it is genuine and that you can tell because there is a stamp on the inside of the band. I will take a photo of this and upload it later tonight. this is so shady, you say barely worn, yet you now say that you're not even the original purchaser?!

there is a massive amount of fake Tiffany stuff knocking about on ebay etc and a lot of it is good quality, and no the dumb blonde in the Tiffany store cannot tell the difference, hence why they don't do authentication and make themselves liable

onus is on you to prove it's genuine now but I don't see how you're gonna do that

I don't see how I prove that it's real can but I can send it first and let you check it out yourself/take it to a jeweler as I'm 100% confident its real. I've had a pawn shop and the actual store confirm its authenticity. They just don't provide paperwork. It's my GFs and she's trying to get rid of it.

I think this post should be taken down until their is proof of purchase or a really good story. There are a million Tiffany fakes out there that are going to have the same "stamp"

Completely understandable if you feel that way. I just don't get all the suspicion when I'm willing to send it first. And I seriously doubt there are fake Tiffany rings out there with real diamonds which would be easily verifiable.

You need to revamp your thinking on fakes. They put real diamonds, gold, whatever on fakes. The only thing that's fake on some of these things is the hallmark. Everything else is up to scratch.

i mean unless you are the actual purchaser its always going to be a possibility its fake, even if all the tiffanys in the world tell you its real, unless YOU bought it from the store yourself, the buyer can always have a little doubt and its understandable, sucks because it may be real and probably is, but dropping $2500 nowadays with all the fakes isnt worth it unless you are 100% sure, not 98% sure as a buyer, gl tho its a real nice ring real or fake

@kasane That's surprising but I guess its believable cuz scammers gon' scam. I just don't see the point because you obviously can't sell it at retail price and the diamond itself is probably worth more than you could get for it at a resale price.

@howdo yea I see that it'll be tough to verify 100% but I thought the huge discount + me not having a shady history would generate some interest. I figured that letting a potential buyer check it out first hand would be the most honest and fair way to get it done because a receipt proves nothing really and the authentication process is a hassle my GF doesn't wanna go thru during tax season.

don't mind the trolls. I think since you've offered to ship first this is a win win situation for a reputable reg here. As long as you do not try to reneg thru pms(common practice by scammers)not sure about the price but nothing suspicious here.
If you do not find a reputable reg you might look for an escrow(marketplace mods do not escrow)
