i have tried to do this manually and am already stuck at trying to root my phone. looking for someone with experience in rooting/upgrading these phones to help me get my phone from 2.1 to using the paragon rom.

i am on the rogers network in canada, not sure if that makes a difference.

just to clarify, im not a complete tech ******, but need help to decipher if what i am doing is right, understanding error messages im getting, etc. basically just need someone to walk me through some steps that are giving me trouble in the rooting/ROMing process.
