Hi Everyone,

So far this year I have been playing ok, but decided to make a thread to track my goals for the remainder of the year;

-make 40k profit
-make SN
-be playing 2/4 and 3/6 + by years end
-play more live poker
-learn how to play 6-max plo
-get my golf handicap to single digits.

So far this year I'm up 20ishk playing alot 50PL, 100PL and some 200PL

Review of the year so far...

Has been a really slow year mate.

Took time off to get my health situation sorted (which it mostly is now), in between that and uni, I haven't been able to play as much as I wanted to.

Looking ahead I want to get at least 20k hands in per month of HU

hey..nah don't play any o8. Just an interesting hand that popped up today.

I know it sounds really nitty ..but is there anyway you can justify folding rivers in these spots..i.e. I don't think he is ever bluffing here. Even though we are getting almost 6-1 on a call...at these stakes they are almost never bluffing here. Thoughts?

cant speak for you, but myself and alot the hu community dont really appreciate people who just sit and wait for donks all day just sucking money out of the economy and giving nothing back while the games are slowly dying.

I frankly dont think that OP gives a ***** about what you or the hu community thinks about the way he is doing things. In this game its every1 for himself anyway so I don't see why op shouldnt keep doing what he's good at(even tho its bumhunting)
    Good luck keep us posted

    Lol..true..

Just to clarify for the purpose of this thread.

    a) how would you go about bumhunting anyway? stay away from the regs??... believe me they stay away from you.
    b) If you do sit with regs...its simple..they just sit out.
    c) there are no longer tracking sites like PTR to literally bumhunt
    d) I sit I wait for someone to play... I never sit out if a reg sits in..I only sit out if they have hit and run on me several times.

p.s ty Kreatief for the gl.

running good so far been a good week

During a HU 1/2 PLO sesh, I faced this guy who would literally fold 95% of the time from the BB when I opened; and if he did decide to play, he always 3 bet.

He would also open near 100 percent of buttons (as you should) and cbet 60-70 cent of the time.

I tried to deal with this by 'out nitting him' and three betting good holdings pre, but that just builds bigger pots OOP.
It just frustrating playing against someone like this because they almost force you to play all hands OOP...

Thoughts? How do you guy deal with position nits in HU PLO

I started playing nlhe like everyone else and found I didn't have the patience to play full ring games and diverged to Holdem heads up. I worked my way up from 1 dollar HU sngs up to 27 or 32 turbos (I forget). But I eventually started getting bored of the pre flop limitations of Holdem. My friend was playing low stakes plo heads up and 6max and described it as 'the crack cocaine of poker'... Naturally I was immediately drawn to the game

I've been playing now for a year and a half. Now I've got more time on my hands hopefully I can move up the limits

I was thinking about making a thread just like this, guess you got there before me Playing the same stakes and going for supernova as well.

hand #1, difficult spot, really don't know. Maybe bet a little less on the river and fold to a raise, depends on how your image of Villain is.

hand #2 I think it's a pretty easy call, don't think he ever have a good hand, and if he have something like KQ** you still have the equity to call the all in.

      Good luck and subscribed!

Yeah, most tilting news for poker. Where in Aus you from? Despite locked seats I still think you should contribute your vote/opinion into the election despite the ridiculous political landscape we have at the moment.

well technically poker in aus is illegal for the companies providing it, not the players, just like in the usa, right?

so if rudd wins, is poker still okay? or is poker screwed anyway?

important to me as i've been planning on a move to australia to chase sne next year
