Im starting with nl20 HU on cake with like 15bi today. Everyday updates, gl.

Today was running terrible, lost like 5bi in like 1 hour or so, was coolerd a lot in 3bet pots, like nut srt8 vs Full house, or lost KK vs J10 in 4 bet pot on K 9 Q flop

Then I managed to get it back, and now my roll is like $309, so not bad. Made a lot of rake too I guess.

are the HU games good at cake

Well, I wasn't playing there a lot. At nl20 you can get action all the time, at nl50 games are sometimes dead, but I thing they're pretty soft. I had prob like 25-30bb over 10k hands at nl50, I know it's small sample and like only 7-10 over 50k at nl20. That's because I was 4 tabling sometimes and tillting a lot.
Then I had the biggest tillt in my life, and decided to cash out all roll, and now I started again.

Rakeback is also OK, I get like 50% (even more) because there are some deposit bonuses, but in order to get 50% you ve to make at least 1k in rake, cuz its only 33% and the rest is from rake chase.

Hand 2: Obviously he shouldn't have called OOP with 82o preflop, but wtf did you put him on the flop?

What you're doing is just paying off stupid fish play.

you gonna go busto because of missing brm. at least it sounds that way.

He's going to go bust mostly because of bad play.

You're racing at best with 55 preflop, and dominated often, even against a losing player. You want to exploit losing players, not go for a 52% favorite pre-rake.

You probably got overexcited with TP + medium-high kicker.

iDonkYoU, that's the thing about the brm. Even a good player has a pretty high risk of ruin if he has not enough for buy ins for the level he is playing. I didn't even care to comment on his play cos it's pretty useless when he doesn't follow the easiest yet one of the most important rules of the game.

Am I the only one who thinks the QQ hand was played well? I mean he could be doing that with stuff other than an 8 you know...

A fish who min 3bet? not likely

He's obviously just clicking buttons, which means that he's probably not aware enough to raise with a straight/flush draw. He could be spazzing but most likely he has a made hand.

As for the AJ hand, I missed the 3bet part; You probably played it fine.

That's not true. Look at first match, he shoved 1st hand (Q10), then I stacked him again with KK and he had some trash (this was this sng I won). I'd fold this QQ but given history he couldve got any pair some str8 draw, FD etc, so thats why I shoved.

And as I said, that doesnt matter that I have only 3 bi atm, because I play only one sng at the time, and as I said I can reload, so no need to play lower stakes. I just dont wanna play nl20 hu because rake is so high and I believe I can make more playing sngs.

It seems as if you get excited with TPGK, although I don't know the dynamics of the hands, you are often dominated or at best just ahead/split pot because they're just so many combos that can beat you.

OK anyway I decided to start all over again here too. I think it was stupid to play some sngs as Im nl hu player.

Im gonna start with nl20 on Cake again with like 40bi, guess it's enough for this level.

Goal is to make 10k in 6-7 month, I know its a lot of time but I won't play a lot, Im gonna take some shots at nl50 when I reach >2k.

Then I play bad, I mean I was coolerd a lot, or almost stacked off on the turn, and lets say call last 2-3$ on the riv, thats why it looks like that.


But the thing is then when I lose I start calling all 3 bets and play like 45-50 from bb, thats why im losing more.

When I played like 3 month ago I had profit on BB and SB (almost the same).


Maybe theres someone who wants to help, I dont now maybe some sweeting or sth, some nl50-200 reg, wud be great,

jungleman coched me now its better, its like i guess last 40-50 days or so
