... Here we go again

Hi 2p2,

I guess I just cannot keep away from this blogging stuff; I recently closed my last PG&C with no plans to re-open it, or make a new one, and it's taken just shy of a month to make a new one.

Brief synopsis of V1 & V2:

- grinded from 25z-200z (including some (failed) shots at 500z) on Pokerstars
- went pro (using the term somewhat loosely!)
- learned that Poker is actually really ****ing hard
- lost social life in every sense of the term (lol)
- made a best new buddy, Mirage01

Goals for 2018:
- 600k hands
- 5kNL
- to live a healthy life (I have no balance in mine atm)

I will aim to update weekly-fortnightly with a few HH's and how things are going. Expect complete transparency.

I hope this will inspire at least someone out there to go get it!

Lastly, my 2017 and 2018 results. Feel free to ask questions, I will get back to any with my updates.

I was following ur last thread but not so actively, just lurking rarely posting. Maybe i get more involved in this one but subbed none the less.

I find the contect/info/experiences interesting.

Questions that popped in my mind will reading intro:

(If u dont mind answering of course)

1) how old are you?

2)did u have a "real-job" be4 turning pro.

3) define "lost every sense of social life". I would imagine playing cg would have given u some sort of freedom time-wise, in contrary with mtts per say.

Why do you play Zoom? Bumhunting the Eurosites on NL100/NL200/NL400 will be more profitable and less stressful (I like the one with the anonymous tables .. Just playing ABC-value Poker will net you good results there).

I don't know OP well at all, pretty sure he dislikes me, but feel like its pretty clear from his posts that he doesn't want to just be a middle of the road midstakes grinder. Nothing wrong with a little bit of ambition, ya know!

zoom still stops at 500 which is still kinda low compared to his goals of 5k NL though, so he could probably just stick to reg tables (in which it's a lot easier to deviate from theory and exploit recs hard)

Have fun with bots on euro sites. They are a very real thing.
They never spazz, tilt, never make a mistake and in a way they play perfect GTO with low FTCB.
Playing vs humans is so much more profitable.
