Be sure to buy dry beans and water them overnight instead of buying canned beans as these are loaded with lots of sugar and if you're e.g. trying to lose weight it's really counterproductive.

Hey,

Just finished my last (god-awful) sesh of the month and, surprise, surprise, I didn't hit my volume goal of hitting 45k hands for the month. I know that I am forever falling short on the volume, but there is some good news; toward the end of the month I found it a lot easier to grind out the volume whilst 3-tabling, and even though I suspect I sacrifce a few evbb's off my wr (at a bare minimum), I hope that with enough practice, it'll eventually "click", and whatever sacrifice it took to add the third table will slowly erode away into something negligible and affordable. Alas, the plan next month is to grind 3 tables of 6max and pump out the volume the best I can with some HU mixed in. Speaking of HU, I played my first sesh of it for awhile the other day and boy is that game just a whole lot better than 6max... it's a shame the format is dying, because I have an absolute blast playing it!

As for how June went, I'm not really sure; it just seems like a blur to me. Looking at the graph, it looks like I ran well at the start and plateaued out losing a bit back, but all I can remember is running horrendously at the end and nothing about the beginning. Not sure why my memory isn't anymore retentive about it, but it probably isn't a good sign.

I will be taking the first week of July off (which I'm now really looking forward to) to relax and study super hard before going into grind mode, so I'm going to set myself the goal of hitting 45k hands, which should be played throughout the 8th-31st of July. Fingers crossed.

No HH's for now as I want to start that break after I post this.

Graph/Results:

That's it for now. Hope everyone's June went smoothly and goooooooooood luck for July!!

how do you actually get a positive redline? Not that I think its important but it never ceases to impress me, cause mine never breakeven for more than 1k hands

Are you gonna do any more streaming? I missed the most recent session, but the one about a week ago was educational and entertaining. (I'm not really a fan of twitch, so that's high praise from me.)

You ever considered playing live poker? I mean if you fit in 15-20/hr a week you can prob make a decent amount of money which always helps.

positive redline is a mix of fastplaying hands, value betting as thin as you possibly can, overbetting on different streets (both when bluffing and value betting) and not explo folding rivers

Just fold less and raise/call more, it's that simple. I do my own thing in Poker, so I can't relate more than that, sorry.

I'm glad you enjoyed! I will probably do some more, but there won't be any set schedule.

If you had any advice for what I could do to improve the broadcast/viewing experience, what would it be? Cheers!

I make enough money to stay comfortable (this isn't a subtle brag; I live a frugal life), and money has never appealed to me moreso than having a roof over my head, so not really, no.

As planned I took the first few days of July off to relax and get ready for the grind/study, and being the big kid that I am, this (of course) meant that I would watch Toy Story 1-3, Dinosaur, The Iron Giant and The Lion King. Feel very well rested, and cannot wait to get back to work. I've decided to skip the studying until a later date (probably next month) and get some proper volume in for July instead, as that's what I'm forever falling short on. I'm hoping to hit between 50-60k hands for the month, depending on how many HU sessions I get in. Will be super happy if I can do it!

Gooooood luck to me and gooooood luck to you!
