I've had a few bluffs get called by worse bluffcatchers in my time, but nothing to this extreme. It came a few hands after me getting setup for set over set in villain's favour, so that definitely lightened things up

tbf I've legit called down thinking I had a flush, but didn't before.

Anyways, I won with 5high once.

Board 22232 vs 43 and I had 54
Spoiler:
and I went all in on the river

have you thought about minimizing the table you're running a sick bluff on?

It's what nits do when they bluff lol, it should help with the sweat and decrease tilt levels/pressure.

Ive heard that nits also minimize table when facing some bluffcatching decisions, timebank can make decision for them.

Haha, I was actually talking about this very same topic to a friend the other day. I'll copy in here what I wrote to him, as it could be of use to some people.

Each time I run a bluff, I always make sure to go through a mental checklist in my head, which roughly consists of this: 1. If I get called, will I still be happy with my decision? 2. If I get a fold, will I truly be happy that it was the right play? (truly being the keyword here, as it's extremely important not to mark-off a bluff as fine just because it got through; we should always aim to learn from each spot whilst being complete fair and transparent)

9 times out of 10 I really won't care about the result of the bluff, as I will have already determined it to be (at least) "fine". The other 1 out of 10 times usually associate to spots like this, which are spots that will likely to result in a polar outcome; either villain has no bluffs, or villain is bluffing every time, and I haven't enough intuition/other sources of knowledge in the spot determine either/or before going ahead with it, meaning that there's no real way of knowing how good it is before seeing the result.

For instance, there was a spot yesterday where I jammed around 3xp otr and only went back to see the result of the hand a good few mins later, as, after I had determined it was good, it wasn't immediately important to me anymore.

    I hope makes sense!

on h1 why aren't you betting bigger with your range? Is the reason for that 33% sizing because you're valuebetting Ax/KK/QQ OTR?

Was about to make long post about hand one but its not so much to think about. Our range is just extremely nutted that its pretty difficult to find bluffs there to justify betting big for value. Especcially while the turn O-bet cuts KQ out of villains range. Dont get me wrong, I dont think generally we need to find bluffs in our range to be able to make big bet but problem is that big bet wouldnt get likely more value / work better there than the small one.

If he has A-high flush / blocker (two pair w. Ac) big bet / shove just cutts off the potential bluff but really cant say this being an induser as the amount of potential bluff combos for villain are very low and aswell our range extremely nutty and its not being a spot for villain to have a high bluff frequency since facing range that is ultra strong and being defending a weakish range. Dont need to be particularly smart to understand that.

        -

Gl in your 2018 and sorry for my negative comments on your threads earlier. Guess sometimes people missunderstand eachothers purposes and get bad at eachothers for not much of a reason.

Which is irrelevant against a drooler who can't fold Ax most of the time. That hand is a great example of gto just burning ev, and exploit printing. Villain range on turn is very strong so we should be exploiting it rather than that dog**** 'value' bet.
