Played super solid today, couldn't really ask to play any better, was very happy with my performance. I tried a bit of 3 tabling after feeling so confident which went OK, I still struggled a bit w/ it tho. May try it a bit more when I'm playing >9/10.

Villain snap minxr'd this River, so quick that it was either an unlucky missclick via human error, or villain is a bot. The only other explanation would be villain spam clicking the area where the raise button will pop up when I bet, and that just seems a bit far-fetched to me? I ended up calling because I thought it was missclick. What do you guys think?

Yeah I almost always tend to go bigger for value v fish.

It's never always right to do something, IMO that's a big mistake a lot of people make. The likelihood of ever being in the same postflop scenario twice is astronomically small, so applying a predetermined strategy for all scenario's will quite clearly be suboptimal. That's not my way of saying that I'm right and you're wrong - I could very well be wrong about this hand - but we should always be tailoring our strategy to the situation at hand.

Taking today off from the tables to study as planned. Just played a few games of League (unnistalling as I type this) before getting my hands into the nitty gritty. Didn't quite hit my volume goal for the week, but I'm still happy w/ my volume as I got off to a slow start but managed to hit my daily targets toward the end of the week.

Solid week overall. Ofc I'm noticing myself making mistakes every session I play, but I'd like to think that I'm playing better than most of the pool. There's 2 or 3 regs that frequent 100z everyday that I know are better, and then a few others who play higher but come down every now and then.

Is it ok for villain? Ok, he may be 3-bet shoving light here with draws, so having a wider value range there is fine, but I can't see how jamming QQ there can be a good option, specially in a MW pot.

Yeh that's a good shout, you are probably right. The site is legit but small, so maybe the firewall didn't recognise it and blocked it.

I think it's suboptimal but not horrendous to the extent that it's losing. I guess his plan was to deny me equity, however I think that there are better ways of going about that. Just calling vs my xr every time will also be suboptimal on a board like this as well, finding a mix of calls/equity-denying 3b's will be good IMO, at least, that's how I'd approach the spot from his perspective.

Been keeping my head down and grinding for the last week or so and have managed to hit every one of my daily volume goals which I'm really pleased with, esp when volume has been my biggest weakness for a long while - pretty much ever. As a compromise, I've not been putting in the same amount of hrs as I'd like to have put in off the tables, prob only around 1-2hrs each day, as compared with my previous 3-5. Really need to get back on the daily PIO/Snowie/Excel work to keep my game the best it can be. I noticed that it was slacking a bit, too much default actioning, instead of well thoughtout moves.

My main idea there would be folding to the raise, MW pots are tough, so what about villain checking this flop, since it don't hit his range much, and you/the other reg will probably make his life some kind of a hell by raising him a lot? Also by checking he induces BTN to start stealing. This is a spot I think is really hard to play, since villains can easily play fit-or-fold and print vs you when you have an overpair there, or if they realize you're overfolding, they will print even more by raise-bluffing a lot of gutshots

Also on that 66 hand you checked twice and raised OTT, you basically have only draws there, right? With 86s most people lead OTF. After villain called your raise, then he probably has a lot of the FDs there, so jamming OTR is fine, but what if he jams over your raise OTF with his FDs?

I think you're being way too nitty w/ QQ on T9x 2 tone, esp without the suit protection. If you bet it's never ever going to be a bet-fold unless the 2bettor is a massive nit, and checking definitely has less EV than betting.

66 - I have 77/99/KQ/86/97 all at frequencies, and I would play them exactly the same.
