If you ask PIO it shrugs it off as "meh, standard flop and turn play, raise flop sometimes with 44 as SB. Check check river standard with these holdings but if BTN way overbluffs like A5o would indicate we print by making a stand with 90% of our range as SB, making a close close fold with 33/44/87s and nothing else".

So yeah... Either a rec is involved or they're PIO sluts getting the river slightly wrong. Either way they both would seem to possess large balls.

You could argue it's not entirely clear I guess. One guy correctly assumed the other was overbluffing and made an ambitious but not terribly expensive call. The other decided to widen his bluffing range against a 100% range defend

Starting to look at building a pc (to replace my buggy laptop) with an eye on running pio in a serious way on it in the future - any conclusions from your research or general advice would be very much appreciated.

Seems like a top-end CPU (AMD Ryzen 7 1700 or Intel i7-7700K) is advisable, as is 16GB or ideally 32GB RAM. Any real difference between manufacturers that you're aware of?

Can't even begin to understand the vast range of graphics cards available. Seems like any gaming setup provides scope for 3 monitors, which would be nice. I have a bit of a desire to potentially add more, but will probably abandon this to save money. Aside from that, there's a massive price premium for VR-ready which would be cool but not worth it tbh.

Seems as though SSD and HDD manufacturers are hardly differentiated, unless you know otherwise?

Why is he calling off his stack with ace high? I can't imagine this guy is a winning player. You are right, you owned him hard. Well played sir!
