A lot of crazy hands get posted in the 'High Stakes thread' in NVG, so I think you're fine to post it. I have a man crush on RedBaron, but from a pseudo-GTO perspective, I think he spewed badly in that hand. According to Snowie (which isn't perfect, especially when it's multiway with weird stacksizes), the Baron's flop raise with bottom pair + backdoors is only a small mistake, but when the SB donks/3-bets the flop, he has TT 100% of the time, so he can't possibly be check-jamming a draw on the turn. A3s is always losing and always drawing dead, so it's a terrible call off. I can only assume OTB thought the SB takes weird lines with hands like KJs.

Good luck with the rebuild at 16NLz btw.

I don't think we are anywhere near qualified to berate and/or judge his play for right or wrong, we have no idea what his justification for calling/folding was!

Yeah moved up not long ago. Got bashed about at bit at first, and endured the things like losing AA < QQ both times running it twice and stuff, always fantastic when you first move up... But yeah been running quite hot since. Hopefully you'll be back soon and we can battle.

You've just gotta laugh when the board does this to you. Solid fold though and can be even harder to make when running bad.

Villain could be bluffing some 56ss T9ss JTss, could be doing it with 77 or AQx thinking you got AJ. Don't think you should be basing decisions on 50 hand sample. If you fold 88 there you would be folding your entire range which is just wayy to exploitable. Sometimes you just gotta lose dem moniez. Raising turn is also an option.

No way is V pulling a bluff like that 3w otr, either me or the BB can easily have a house or station with trips. Plus if that means that I am going to be exploited by a guy with 50 hands on me at micro's, then so be it.

eeeeerm, don't call 88 for sure

also not a spot you have to remain unexploitable even if you were playing high stakes, when there's a fish in the pot, since regs will just try to get max value against the fish and not bluff obviously, as they should..

        Spoiler:
        MP2 is OtB_RedBaron
On the flop I think its pretty unlikely for SB to bet 3 bet with TTT,QT or 333 because of OTBs super aggro image why not let him hang himself on a bored this dry plus I think he squeezes TT a pretty large amount preflop and QQQ just isn't in his range at all once OTB Flats the raise OTF his range becomes KJ all sets and overpairs so he has a huge range advantage here against V and OTB is blocking a big chunk of Vs value (333) the thing that really sealed the call on the turn for OTB was the check raise all in if SB really had a set would he really shut down the betting lead on the turn and give OTB a chance to check back with KJ and realize his equity in the hand for free? of course not that would be horrible and SB has gotta know if OTB has value and not a draw he is gonna get OTBs Stack anyway so why slowplay the turn it accomplishes nothing other than giving OTB a chance to see a free card with an open ender and OTB knows this which is why he calls it off assuming Vs range is heavily weighed twords J9s And KJ at this point because sets and top 2 are very unlikely to check the turn the reason for OTBs small bet on the turn was probably designed to get a draw or bluff hand to shove all in because OTB knows at this point in the hand its very unlikely V has the goods because of what I said and just pure lack of hand combos Plus if OTB is so sure V has a bluff on the turn (KJ, Maybe J9s, AJs or K9s) then it would be pretty bad for him to check back the turn when he has a hand like A3s and give V a chance to realize his equity for free

                          Hey guys,

I am going to drop a table and 3 table for a bit as I keep catching myself out in autopilot mode. I'll try to keep it at 3 tables for the entirety of tomorrow and see what I think of it. I'll also shut down any Twitch streams I have going in the background, too, as they are no doubt distracting me a fair bit.

I also need to start taking a bit more time thinking through my decisions as I misplayed a couple spots that could have been avoided had I taken a bit more time.

On a more positive note; the downswing has somewhat subsided

                          1. Vs unknown fish. I probably should be raising more OTF/OTT. Is river ever an xb? What's your line?
